New grafic card (Help)

Currently my grafic card is getting old, and it have kinda... been overheated some times and looking into a new one.

(Current) AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (1gb) all i know atm

And i'm thinking to get a Gainward GeForce GTX 780 3GB PhysX CUDA (770,63 USD/563,77 Euro)

Is it worth it?

Really depends what games you play but that card will be able to play pretty much anything. It's just a question of is it worth the price for your playing habits.

First off, 770 bucks (USD) for a 780? Are you sure it isn't a 780 TI? Because let me say that if it ISN'T that's a huge rip-off.

Second, never heard of Gainward... and again if first is actually a 780 vs 780 TI... For the same price you can get the 780TI classified (factory OC) from EVGA.

Finally, what resolution are you playing at? The general consensus seems to be that if you're not playing on multiple monitors and/or large (read bigger than 1080p) resolutions then the 780 is overkill and you can (more than likely) get away with a 770. It's really at those high resolutions that the 780/780ti start showing their true power.

I'm playing WoW, Dayz, Arma 2/3, LoL, Rust, Metro; Last light ETC and Battlefield 4(Can't play BF atm cause my current grafic card goes up to 72-75 Celsius with lowest settings expect resultion) and yes i got cold paste on it with

I'd like to play on High settings without lag or the card will have a problem to handle it i'd like to hold a steady 60FPS on high demand games, and able to stream

I'm using 2 screens aswell if does mean anything. i play games in 1920 x 1080
I'd like recommended card to and i'll need to save for a new aswell, but something to aim for.

On the Gainward... tbh I'm not sure if that is a TI or not. The lower memory clock speed makes me scratch my head too, especially considering the 770s you found are 7.

On the subject of resolution, if you're not using both screens while playing games then I do believe it's only 1920x1080 for res.

So I can't really find a review that lists ALL the games you play, but I found one with Metro Last Light and it says that at "Very HQ" settings and 1920x1200 it gave 50FPS. 780 was only 58FPS, and the 780 ti (reference, not a partner's OC card) plops down at 70.

I found some BF3 numbers for the 770/780 at the 1920x1200 res, 68/80 respectively, but for BF4 I can only find numbers for 2560x1440 that include the 770... But the ti pulled out 87 FPS. Thats on ultra with 2xMSAA and 16AF.

So, which/what works for you is really something you may just need to look into more. Losing that extra 120 pixels may cause a slight up in FPS, and if you slightly lower something like AA or something else... Though if you want to or not... well up to you. Also keep in mind I'm comparing the STOCK/reference things here. Often times companies will offer factory overclocked cards, which provide a bit more performance than the stock.
