    Blizzard's Q4 Earnings Call (Speculation)

So I believe that the next earnings call should be next month so, what are your predictions? No news so far on WoD, and many people getting tired already from siege, so how many subs will be lost? /Speculate.

I think it should be down by another 600k-1M subs but that's just my speculation.

I think it lost a max of 200-300k players.
It just feels like WoW became alot more active recently.

But might just be the free heirloom change to all servers.

and the connected realms that puts low realms to Medium status.

If a lot of people switched to alt leveling, the decline may be modest. The BoA-mailing change will help there.

If people got done with raiding and unsubbed, it could be bad.

I'll wildly guess down by 500K.

    200k gained

It's probably gone down, but as ever: why does it matter? It doesn't really prove anything beyond 'WoW is old' and 'there's a bunch of other MMOs on the market right now'. That's all.

The game is the best it's ever been. Sub numbers don't change that.

Not sure but I do know the cost per share is down almost a whole dollar over the past 3 days...makes a guy like me edgey. I hope they bounce back. (Yes, I own a few shares in ATVI)

Probably around 500k - 600k loss and alot of people screaming wow is dying and that the numbers are faked and it really is 1-2m and alot of people claiming those people will be back in WoD.

    Up to 500k losses.

Around a million or so, we're now months into SoO and there won't be more content for a long time, most people unsubbed when they got burned out of SoO after these few months. Its pretty logical thinking, I don't see how people can make those silly assumptions like that the game will gain 200k...

Probably a million or so. I believe the last report was bolstered by it being near the patch

    500k or more lost.

Most people simply won't accept another 6+ months of SoO and Grindless Isle.

Though I also said subs would grow, I think the queue times are more attributed to people jumping servers after the mergers and pushing up some queue times. Stormrage went from full to Locked in 4 mins flat.

It will probably drop 500k to 1mil from now til WoD release.

Then all the sub will be back plus more.

I expect the WoD launch to yeild more than 10M players. If it beat 12M, I would give every player on my realm 1k gold lol

500-600k sounds right for a last-raid lull. A lot of people may also be leveling alts while debating on what to use their instant-90 boost on. I've been working on some--rolled up a druid a couple days ago and I'm working on a warlock once I pick a race. So that might keep sub numbers up until Warlords beta/6.0 PTR draws some people back in.

There's a reason why people don't call it Grindless Isle:
    Grind less.
