    two 7770's or one 7850?

    I currently crossfire two 7770s, http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814127687

Brother just got a new card and is willing to give me his old 7850 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814121623. I know for sure its better then one 7770 but is it better then two?

I just don't know if crossfire just doubles the amount of specs of a card or only takes certain parts, iv never really fully understood cross firing.. it just kind of happened when I got an extra 7770 for free.

Sell them all and buy something better.
    Intel i5-3570K @ 4.7GHz | MSI Z77 Mpower | Noctua NH-D14 | Corsair Vengeance LP White 1.35V 8GB 1600MHz
    Gigabyte GTX 670 OC Windforce 3X @ 1372/7604MHz | Corsair Force GT 120GB | Silverstone Fortress FT02 | Corsair VX450

Sell all three for about $200-$225 and go buy a GTX760 or a 7870XT.

Fair enough, but until I find a buyer, which option is actually better for time being.

I always like to have the best single card I can. Crossfire, while coming a long way recently, is still not as good for some games as it is for others. What I would do is use the 7850 for now, but the best option is to sell all three and get a gtx760 depending on what your price range/budget it.
