Staying Awake - How do you do it?

Hello Guise! I'm a students apprentice at this welding company that I started at 2 days ago.
I need to do something about my sleeping pattern, so I decided to stay awake all night, go to "Work" and remain awake until tomorrow night.

I need a couple of tips to staying awake that doesn't include taking walks and drinking coffee, I'm already doing these two.
Please, gimme all you have. I need it.

*Also for the curiosity of me, so, how do you do it?*

Loud music, something with a moderately high BPM (140+)

Keep your room bright.. Air out once in a while.. Do something you find interresting.
I always watch stand-up or comedy in general; laughs seems to energize me.
Also keep up the coffee all day, if you crash; you'll crash hard..
    I like juice

Actually I did this once. I welded with a sleeveless shirt to impress my boss when we had a deadline.
The clothing bank was closed for the day and we had to create fixtures for a truck (bobcat) out of nothing.

I couldn't just sit by and do nothing so I picked it up and started. At the end of the day, I had received so much radiation that the skin on my arm started to peel off and turn red. From the hand, up to my shoulder. I won't do that again, that I swear. It ended up with me having my boss give me shit for trying too hard. >.>

mastication is also one of those 'cheat codes the body doesn't tell you about' tricks to staying awake - it releases certain chemicals in your brain that activate alertness for evolutionary reasons.
so a very light and non-filling snack, or gum.

Also keep a fairly high caloric intake - I find when I'm pulling 24+ hours awake I need to eat more than usual as the time-without-sleep goes on - if I don't I begin to get tired. Oh, and try to eat healthy-ish calories - candy won't do much to keep you alive - by contrast though, celery pretty much counts as negative calories because it takes so much effort to break it down. You want things like chicken and fish and such - things which are both real caloric intake and useful for living

That, and Monster Low-Carb, doesn't have tons of Sugar or Aspartame - so doesn't give you Sugar crashes or headaches (aspartame always gives me headaches). The green Monsters are sugar bombs, avoid them - and the Zero Calorie ones use Aspartame - so the Low Carb (blue) are the best: I think they use Stevia or something.

A handful of trail mix every half hour or so should help. If you're already hitting the caffeine there's not much else to do. Short of a pound or two of meth...
You either die a Varian, or live long enough to see yourself become a Thrall...

Looking at porn actually works really well. Don't do what you might normally do while looking at porn cause that will just make you more tired. However just looking at it will likely get you heart rate going and blood flowing likely leading to you feeling somewhat refreshed.

OP I highly recommend not to work in a dangerous work place with while being sleep depraved.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the beans of Java the thoughts acquire speed,
    The hands acquire shakes,
    The shakes becomes a warning.

(With apologies to the late, great Frank Herbert. Also, cold brewed coffee FTW!
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)

    Eat like a bear
    train like a beast
    sleep like a baby

No need to stress your body like that. Do some taxing physical activity after work and you will sleep like a baby.

It amazes me that some people in my life function on 4-5 hours a sleep daily and are still more active than me.

It amazes me more on WoW expansion releases that people are capable of staying awake for over 100 hours.

Waking up after only 6 hours of sleep has me crashed the entire day, and I live an overly active life.
