4gs is around your budget? What does that mean?

The PSU is way overkill, so is the CPU and RAM if it's solely for gaming.

    What games do you play?

The CPU is overkill if all you play is WoW, i5-4670k would cost less and perform the same.

Why are you not getting a 290x?

I've had multiple bad experiences with AMD and ATI in the past. I keep it green and stick with Nvidia just for my own purposes. Costs and availability aside, I'd rather pay more for an experience that didn't remind me of a troubled past.

Fair enough mate, was just wondering since a 290x would do every requirement you had better.

So you plan on mining cryptocurrency with a NVIDIA card? Has something changed that makes that a viable option? Last I knew, it was either use an AMD card or forget about it.

Pretty much, either you mine with an AMD card or you don't mine at all.

Yeah, AMD cards mine a LOT better than the Nvidia options. My dad's running a pair of 290X cards himself, though he's going Litecoin.

Yeah, you're not going to mine Bitcoin profitably on Nvidia/AMD anymore.

Changed to a i5-4670k because it won't make a difference in performance.
Added CPU cooler in-case you want to OC.
Changed RAM to lower profile, 1.5v & CAS 9.
The HAF case you linked is INSANELY overpriced, it's got an obscene amount of plastic on it; went for a solid Fractal Design Arc XL.
Changed to a higher quality PSU, with the ability to power a 2nd 780ti in the future
