Pride parades are retarded.

It kind of is, it kind of isn't. I mostly see it like those strikes people do. It's basically a protest. Only thing it does is just raise awareness but I don't even know if it actually does that.

Atm, it's more of a thing for people with the same sexuality to meet each other and talk rather than just raise awareness. Of course, it raises awareness but it feels like it's not really doing that.

If you want to meet other gay guys, go to a club or bar orientated towards em or hop on Grindr.
Hell, 99% of pride event attendees are on Grindr.

And you must've only attended a small-scale one. Ones held in major cities are much more lively.
