Saving the Rivalry - The Different Reroll Project

    Saving the Rivalry

Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, is purely intentional.

The sun was slowly going down. Stranglethorn's jungles were known to be a dangerous place for all travellers passing by anyway and the lack of daylight was not helping them. Troll ruins and goblin camps were only some of the hazards on the way to the port of Booty Bay, where the young human was sent by the orders of the king.

But the biggest threat was hiding in the shadows. As she was riding her white steed something sapped her. With quick but silent steps an undead rogue appeared right behind her and placed a cheap shot, transferring all the poisons from his blade into her bloodstream. Her heart was pounding - there was no time to lose! With the powers she had recently acquired, she managed to teleport herself some 20 yards forward, escaping the initial stun from the surprise attack. The rogue was expecting this and immediately sprinted in that direction ready to eviscerate the enemy. But it was only seconds later, when he found himself frozen to the ground by the elemental which was summoned to aid the mage. Oh why did he replace the trinket he had won after his previous battles with a carrot on a stick?

It was a warm summer night but ice was flowing through the young lady's veins. Frosty shards came out of her fingers hitting the undead right where his heart used to be. She was ready to finish him off by a presence of mind when suddenly he disappeared. He had vanished into thin air! Arcane energy came out, exploding into spheres around her. Too late! A well-placed hit right in the kidney left the human almost defenseless - she had to resort to the last trick up her sleeve.

Encased in a block of ice, she was immune to the attacks but the burning heat was melting the ice and she didn't have much time left...

When was the last time something like this happened to you in WoW?

Do you miss the thrill of fighting against your opponents in the beautiful in-game instead of small arenas or closed battlegrounds?

Are you looking to experience both PvE and PvP the way it was meant to be experienced at the appropriate level?

Then let me introduce you to the "Saving the Rivalry" project...

This a project consisting of two guilds - one Alliance (Daybreak) and one Horde (Nightfall).
We have been live for just over a month and there's been an incredibly high interest from people.
So far, we have cleared lvl 60 and 70 PVE content and have enjoyed a few PVP events, including a recreation of the Tarren Mill vs Southshore battles. The best thing is that our members have come up with amazing ideas that will be put into action really soon and you wouldn't want to miss any of them!

What is more, the forums are the place where important decision are actually taken - for the people, by the people. We are running a 'democracy' system of management, where the work of the officers and the guild leaders is evaluated each month and they are subject to demotion. Everyone's opinion is taken into consideration and we all work together towards the common goal of having fun and enjoying the game!

You are free to pick whatever faction, race and class you want, engage in any guild events or even just be a social member.

Here's some basic info about the guilds themselves:

    Realm - Defias Brotherhood
Guilds - Daybreak (Alliance) vs Nightfall (Horde)
    Level Caps - x / 60 / 70 / 80 / 85 / 90
Next Cap Lift Date - To be determined
Heirlooms - Allowed outside of guild events
Alts - Allowed but only within the level caps!

Joining us is simple and only requires registering on our forums (link below).
After that, whisper any member online and you'll get an invite.

Due to lack of posts cant link the official site of the project will do later on.
At the moment we are just starting WoLTK content if interested just log on the server on either side /who the name of the guild on the respective side and see how things are

The website can be found at:

    http://www.savingtherivalry.com

We're just about to polish off ulduar (masturbatory symbolism only half intended) and it is a good time to join to get to know everyone.

Some of us are good, some of us are bad (or maybe just modest), some of us are inbetween. A lot of us either weren't playing through most of mists or fell behind and are looking forward to tackling the content in order to get prepared for Warlords.

Running through old content has been a fun foundation for us to build upon and I absolutely recommend you come and join us (horde side).

We raid twice a week, horde on Thursday and Sunday and Alliance on Wednesday and Sunday and typically clear content during the first reset and move on so we expect to move fairly swiftly into mists content.

It's a good way to keep yourself interested as we patiently wait for the next expansion and gives you a head start on transmogs and mount drops that you'll be looking to solo.

We have a lot of warriors and had quite a few shamans before some of them rerolled. We're happy to take more, but it is something to keep in mind if you're a gearwhore like Monty.

We look forward to meeting all you nostalgia hunters out there and those looking to go at the current content fresh in a month or so.
