Yes, we remember.......and we'd do it again, if we could..

Nuking that flea's nest, is probably the most sane thing, Garrosh ever set in motion...
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

Theramore is closer to Org? He removes the closest ally base from his shores etc etc.

Garrosh wanted the Horde to conquer all of Kalimdor, and Theramore was really the only useful Ally settlement in the area. I'm sure if he had multiple mana bombs he would have gone on to the EK.

    It's Theramore, not Theramoore.

Simple answer, because you're not that "enough of it".

Could have gone with Thera-less, instead.

He wanted Theramore destroyed as the first step to being able to secure the entire continent. He was thwarted in large part because instead of, y'know, finishing the job (I believe the next steps were Feathermoon Stronghold and the campaign finishing with laying siege to Darnassus) they went back to Org and partied before they barely started. Ethics aside, there was a tactical brilliance to Theramore -- he set it out as a honeypot and drew in some of the Alliance's best assets from around the world to defend it and then incinerated the lot of them. Of course, while he bragged about the damage to the Kirin Tor at the time, that probably set off a chain of events that did him more harm than good.

Because wow makes no sense what so ever!

Good riddance to Theramore and may that smoking crater always remind ally scum not to mess with da Horde!

You left some escape, and in the process gave us Dalaran.

On the other hand, when we, night elves, destroyed the Shatterspear dancing trolls tribe... we did it so good none escaped and nobody even remembers them anymore. That's the proper way to wipe a group of people. You orcs are amateurs.

If anything I'd say that Theramore was given the idiot ball. I mean they really couldn't repel a single zepelin with a dragon aiding them? Really?

A tweet confims that some of them did survive, though they didn't survive as an actual tribe .

    You mean 'Therandgone' right?

Anyway, I remember Theramore fondly. The city, not its destruction. I'll always see that in a poor light because Blizz put Jaina on the monorail to crazytown in that event. :c

Yeah, my 'Darkspear Revolutionary' title is all shaking in its boots over a boast about Theramore being the example of what happens to Garrosh's enemies. Never mind that nice spear Malkorok was polite enough to give my monk after she kicked his ugly ass up and down the Underhold.
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!

We Hordies kill him too, and receive the same loot. And yet Theramore remains a crater.

I think we come out ahead on that deal.

I think there's a significant difference between killing your enemy and being forced to kill your old friend.
