Well anyway, think of things as people have suggested that could add an extra income, not that you need it.. apparently...

Like, maybe consider starting a small little side business designing engraved cups with designs and names and artwork on it and selling them on etsy or the farmer's market or something? Or have a local artist put together something for you that you can use to make figurines and sculptures or something? I don't know. I mean there's a lot of potential. Did he get this because you suggested it or showed interest in it meaning you already had an idea of what you wanted to do with it? Did he get this because he wanted to mess around with it and figured it was a good excuse to give such a crazy gift to somebody for their 18th birthday?

Well, I've always talked about how cool I think technology is and 3d-printers have surely come up every now and then. I'm also studying in the field of robotics so that may be a reason. He can barely maneuver a computer so I doubt he bought it for himself. I do however expect a print request or two :P

People usually start with statuettes of the characters they like. Just download something that attracts you and print it.
