Both tanks were dead and I took a risk... made our very first Heroic Beth attempt a kill ("Let's just try it once and see how it goes"), we were ecstatic!
Those moments are awesome! I had a similar one during my probationary period with my current raiding guild. We were putting our last attempts in on Spoils, our last being an enrage wipe with both rooms around 49/50 energy. We started, got the first room cleared pretty easily, and when we were moving to the next room I dropped my lock portal beside the switch. My side didn’t plan our boxes out so well, and opened those closest to the door first, and finished with the small adds furthest from the door. With less than 3 seconds left before enrage my room killed the last little adds and the other had clicked their switch, I ported, and clicked our switch like a madman. People were swearing in mumble, thinking the Blackfuse voice-over was the wipe one, then started cheering when the bonus roll option came up. No one knew what had happened until I explained. Needless to say, I got a raid spot
Gotta love that adrenaline rush of a tight boss kill.
Great job tanking man.
Thank Blizz for the bear health buff this patch.

Reminds me of a time in ToT where I soloed the last 20 seconds (about 6 mill health) of a farm Heroic Ji-Kun kill as a Brewmaster, everyone in vent had already resigned themselves to the wipe... but I didn't die until the boss died. :P
Immediately following that were complaints about OP/broken monks. XD
thats awesome, reminded me of the first time i killed heroic dark shamans on lock. somehow our bear tank and dk tank died in the last 5% health on the bosses, i managed to summon a gateway, pop my defensive unending resolve. kite the 2 shamans while dpsing them then jump in the gateway and fly off just before they died. slimes meteors and fires were everywhere, but we eventually prevailed.
I'm really happy to see that Blizzard doing a great job.
For someone like me(heroic raider) flex or normal makes little sense so it's hard sometimes to understand how people can have lots of fun in there.
But it's great that people still have challenges in flex, especially with close circle of people.
