Availed is an Alliance 10-Man heroic progression guild with a storied history of server first accomplishments. We have established ourselves on the server and in the WoW community as a skilled core of gamers who learn quickly and execute efficiently. Throughout past expansions, we have proven ourselves to be one of the best semi-hardcore raiding guilds in the U.S.
Having defeated all heroic encounters in Siege of Orgrimmar, we now set our sights on Warlords of Draenor and Mythic raiding. We are seeking raiders that are flexible and learn on the fly. Cutting edge progression should be your only focus and goal when raiding with Availed.
Our raid times are Tues-Thurs and Sun, 9-12 EST, with the occasional hour long extension. We expect our raiders to be as close to 100% attendance as possible. We understand that things come up, but we require that notification of any absence be submitted to the raid leader ahead of time. Nobody likes to be left hanging out in the dark wondering where a raider is for three hours. Shoot us a text. We also like for our members to have an understanding of the strategies that includes the willingness to participate in PTR testing, watch streams and read the strategies provided for the encounters. Note that you will have plenty of time to get this done. We are not hardcore in our time commitment, but we do like to do the best we can within the time we have.
Expectations
A potential applicant would do well in making sure they meet all of these requirements:
A level of skill sufficient to compete with the best players in the game
An unwavering commitment to guild progression and rankings
A willingness to sit from a fight for a stronger composition
Experience in previous heroic raiding in the role you are applying for
A relaxed playstyle and thick skin
Logs that demonstrate your capabilities as a player on the character you are applying with.
Environment
Availed is an extremely close guild, with an exceptionally active social network, frequent joking and a very calm atmosphere. We will not yell at you for making mistakes, but we will certainly laugh at you. You can expect a lot of sharp humor, and those interested in a safe-for-work environment would do best looking elsewhere. We will say terrible, terrible things and laugh while doing it.
With that said, we do not tolerate people who cannot handle a relaxed guild environment. We have high accountability, but that comes from the individual raider responsible for mistakes, not you. Mumble is reserved for strategizing and socializing, not blaming or raging at others.

In Siege of Orgrimmar, we finished at US 9th for ten man guilds. In Warlords of Draenor, we hope to continue that success on our laid back schedule. While we know the new competition will mean a few ranks dropped, we also expect the increased recruitment pool and competition to make us a better guild. We are interested in maintaining our current environment as we increase our roster size without sacrificing our current level of play.
