    I think Battle Shout/Commanding Shout should just be dropped and the relevant buffs should be passive or removed entirely. The rage income should be built into interesting offensive abilities instead (DPS Warriors could use more varied rage generators).

    I would not miss Berserker Rage if CC is reduced. Agree that Heroic Throw on a shorter CD could replace shitty old Throw (possibly you could talent HT to make it stronger or act like the Rogue ST or something for the rare occasions you need better ranged DPS). HS and Cleave should be replaced with something better delineated. Hamstring is pretty shitty, maybe a talent tier could be dedicated to a strong version of hamstring (eg short term root followed by snare) vs. piercing howl vs. something else snare/root related.

    For DW and BnT, don't see any point in removing as these are passives and don't waste bar space.

    Warriors could probably drop a few defensives, like a lot of classes.

    Don't forget that after space is cleared up by removing older abilities, Warriors could use more exciting new abilities, even rotational ones.

    It's an iconic ability for a few classes, but... I actually agree with you. I feel it's another one of those abilities that only has one role (PvP) and the game could be balanced easily enough without it.

    Deep Wounds could provide the snare. I used to argue that it should be Rend, but with that gone all we're left with is Deep Wounds.

    Just to reiterate, I take the point about removing passives but I would still rather see things removed that are either hopelessly situational, weak, or add nothing to gameplay. Deep Wounds (for example) adds nothing to gameplay; you just press your buttons as normal and bleeds go onto everything. To me, I'd like it removed in favour of something better or more fun.

    It may not be on your bars, but it's still "bloat" in the spellbook - and cleaning that up is, I think, a valid approach.

    I misread the entire conversation, so I retract my statement and offer my own. On thok we hit phase 2 on our second kill, and I went to heroic leap to the jailer, and did so, and then my charge macro on the same button charged me right in front of thok to get eaten. Needless to say the binds were separated!

    I´d like to object again. In each Tier there are a few Bosses in which Disarm comes in handy. This Tier for example to disarm Haroom or to disarm Thok´s Jailer. Especially useful during the latter one´s enrage, if you happen to have your Hunter busy kiting Thok.

    I´m not saying it finds frequent use in PvE. I´d just like to state, that it has its usage outside of PvP.

    At this point having a dot that needs to be actively applied and probably would even end up being used in the rotation doesn't really sound that great to me.

    Of course, but it's becoming more and more useless in PvE as time goes on because it's considered unacceptable to disarm the vast majority of bosses. Those that can be disarmed tend to be far less meaningful to do it to.

    But you're absolutely right, and it was wrong of me to dismiss the PvE uses completely.

    Deep Wounds is applied passively, though. If you're talking about Rend, I always preferred is as the rotational attack it was in WotLK when (in my view) Arms was at its most fun, ever. It's dead boring now, if you ask me, certainly compared to the heady days of Retaliation or Unrelenting Assault.

    Anyway, on topic:

    I don't think it would be wise to remove heroic strike / cleave as others have said. Due to the fact Zerker stance exists we will reach points such as heroic thok were we are rage capped every 3-5 seconds. I don't think the ability to do more damage because we're taking more damage is a thing we should be removing. Classes in general need more unique stuff like this, were certain mechanics benefit X class more than any other. This won't result in class stacking obviously if it isn't too good, but i still think that for example on Sha of Pride i should have the option to swap to zerker every 10 seconds sub 30% boss hp to get more rage and do more dmg.

    I know a guy who took a lock portal into thoks mouth, if that makes you feel better.
