"Kicked" out of flex raid

A couple of days ago me and my friend created a flex raid for the last three bosses. In the beginning, it went quite bad and a lock which was better geared then he started to complain about my dps (537 ilevel mutirogue, about 150k dps). I didnt really care that much because I knew I was undergeared and hadn't played for a while, but we still managed to clear all the bosses kinda easy. But then, on Garrosh, we wiped a few times and suddenly it was all my fault, even if I did the tactics right and didnt die. After 3-4 wipes, he and he's guildies in the group refused to even try more (they were 5/12 in the group, full normal SoO geared with cloak) and the only thing they wanted was to kick me out of the group. I took one for my friend and left.

The point of this thread is:

Do you justify his actions? Why/why not?
Was it really such a big deal for me being in the group?
Isn't flex for casuals to?

150k is fine for Flex to be completely honest with you. You were doing your job and didn't die to stupid shit but unfortunately people just enjoy causing drama and picking on others and that's exactly what that person is, a bully.

If it was your raid you should have kicked them out and found new people, probably wouldn't have much trouble finding new people for Garrosh as a bunch of people want the BoA Weps.

If people overgear that content (560+ gear, which is from normal), you can easily carry 1-2 undergeared dps. I have had like 470 ilvl people in and the raid was nicely completed. So unless there was like 5 dps out of 10 doing 150k, it should have been absolutely fine.

To you, I suggest openraid. There are plenty of raids for flex and once you're accepted, you must cause something terrible to get kicked:P

It all boils down to whether you really were pulling the group down or not. I'm pretty sure that we would hear a completely different story from the people who kicked you. There is no sense seeking support here.

OP, Next time either Don't pass lead, or boot the trouble causer. People don't usually like drama in a raid so would probably be behind you. Also no harm in maknig the raid larger, 15 is a nice sweet spot.

If you were undergeared and dps was lacking then it was justified. Blaming everything on you the moment something doesn't go perfect is signs of a bad raidleader though.

Kicking you was fine, if he did it for the right reasons. I wasn't there so I wouldn't know.

Well, I doubt you are telling the whole story, because 150k dps would be more than enough for garrosh flex.

But nonetheless I think it's quite simple: If a boss doesn't die because he/adds/phases take too long, I take a look at recount and scroll to the bottom. If a DD does not enough damage - I don't care much if it is because of lack of skill or lack of gear - to the right targets he is a burden and has to be kicked for the sake of the group.

If I were you and would have created the group I would have disbanded it and made a new group - maybe with even a higher itemlevel - , as you can find people very easily for garrosh only.

If what you say is true and you did execute the mechanics then it sounds like you are just a excuse for them to try and justify there own incompetence to do the fight; anyone who think the fight isnt do able with only 150k dps is sorely mistaken, I've carried both guildies and pugs through the fight with them only pull 60k dps themselves on flex... Seems you are where just a case of the current set of players who think number are always the answer

OP, seems like there Is something you aren't telling us since 150k Is MORE than fine for flex.
