Question about LnL

I have read that when you get LnL procs you should spam all 3 of your ES unless you get a higher priority shot of CD, but ES has that two second dot after it. So why wouldnt you let the dot run off and fire another ES right when it does? So if you have enough focus : LnL procs, ES, AS, ES, AS, ES? Or is the dot not worth letting tick through? Relatively new to hunter, thanks for the help

firing all three doesn't clip any portion of the dots. instead, the dot damage is increased with each additional explosive shot you fire into it.
