Would there be any way to make whirlwind viable in a single target rotation ever again? It was a little strong in WoTLK but honestly...it is part of the AoE rotation Fury has but it's weak...it does not compare to most classes AoE. I know Raging Blow is affected by Whirlwind but still. I love the old Whirlwind and would like to see it back to its true glory.
It was only strong in Wrath because we had nothing else to press. We had very few abilities total. The only way Whirlwind would see itself back in our single target rotation is via the Glyph of Raging Wind, it currently can be a dps increase but it is so minor that most Warriors do not bother to waste the glyph slot, myself included.
It's weak in AoE, but its really only there for as a rage dump for Raging Blow via Meat Cleaver, where our real AoE dmg comes from, and Bladestorm of course.
