Honestly, lore is overrated when it comes to combos. Trolls don't have any classes that "make sense lorewise." There are no shadow hunters, no witch doctors, no voodoo hexxers, none of that stuff. Warlocks make as much sense as shamans and rogues and every other class trolls can be, as well as all the ones they can't be.

The witch doctor to shaman/farseer/chieftain quotient of the shaman makeup is ridiculously small. The only explicitly troll themed spell is Hex. Priests have as many troll themed spells. Hex didn't even exist in Vanilla, and Shadow Orbs did.

Well the Zandalari were BFFs with the Mogu, who went crazy with dark magic. The Zandalari also have a history with dark shamanisim (as in, ripping spirits out of bodies, soul transplants, etc). So yes, it could make sense lore wise, but not so much for the Darkspear.

Taurnes worked because it was correct in regards to lore (see the story of Anshe). They also had to do it to balance the Shaman-Paladin scales because Dwarves got Shamans because of the Wildhammers became a poltically active group.

Right now trolls have the BIGGEST class selection (alongside dwarves), they can be 10/11 classes

Every race that practises warlockery is either of incredible intellect ( goblins, gnomes ) or has had run-ins with demons ( orcs, humans, blood elves ).

You realize that Totems came from Witch Doctors?

No, don't come back trying to make a witty reply about how it's a shaman thing-- shamen never dropped totems until WoW said they did.

Funny how you should say that; Chain Heal was a Troll spell, too.
