worth it to crossfire 7870 2gb and 7850 OC 2gb?

wondering if it is worth it to crossfire a 7850 oc and a 7870.
and im not sure if this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157296, it says it does support crossfire
    and has a pcie 3.0 x16 and pcie 2.0 x16 @ x4
Im wondering if there will be any bottlenecks, since the second pcie slot is 2.0 x16 @ x4.

Do you already have a 7850 ? If you get the 7870 and CF it with a 7850 It'll be like you're running 7850 CF which doesn't make sense.

yea, my 7850s fan broke and got the 7870 on a deal for about $130 usd. Today i fixed the broken fan from the hd 7850, which took a me while to find parts for it .
the 7850 i have is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102999 and can overclock way higher.

    Orighty, that makes sense.
The Z77 PRO4 do support CF and there aren't any issues with the bandwidth.
Which power supply you got though?

i will have to use a molex to pcie for the 7850, since both of the included pcie power cables are on the 7870.
it is a 600 w though i don't know why it shows 500W on the link.

Should handle it no problem assuming you didn't go crazy with voltages on the 7870 & CPU.

Should be fine, just don't tweak the mV on your GPU's and It should be fine.
Just try overclocking the 7850 as high as It can go as the 7870 will downclock to it.
