-Immersion: I want to be able to explore and be forced to interact with other players when out in the world, and I want a sense of danger. Not just hitting level cap after a few days and then flying over everything and standing in cities the rest of the expansion.

-Class Balance (PvP): I'd rather not get into situations where every patch is just a rotation of 3-4 specs dominating everyone and then getting nerfed into the ground afterwards because Blizzard has no sense of balance and tries to balance PvP based on PvE, which does not work. Classes are too self-reliant now in both pve and pvp, which has broken any semblance of pvp balance and destroyed class identity by homogenizing everything. Remove self healing from everything except healers and hybrids (ret/enh/ele/balance). HEAVILY tone down CC and work on DR categories, cut damage in half and reduce burst healing. Remove CD chaining. Remove most instant casts or put them on long CDs. There, I pretty much just fixed PvP. You're welcome.

-Immersive, difficult PvE Content: Bring back attunements, remove LFR, make people fly (or get summoned) to raids, and remove difficulties. Make everything one difficulty - hard. Work for your gear and achievements. If you can't put forth the effort to accomplish it, do something else. Or buy a run from people who can. The new form of pve that they brought to the game starting in ToC has no sense of accomplishment because by the time you kill anything on heroic, you've already killed it on normal 7-10+ times. If you don't care about a sense of accomplishment and you just do it for gear, I recommend you go play Diablo or Torchlight instead.

-Old Talent trees, reborn: Honestly the old talents were better. I don't hate the new ones but everyone is still playing cookie cutter specs, changing maybe 1 talent depending on teams they fight in arena or who they're dueling, but that's the same as before really. The only good thing is that you can respec whenever you want now which is pretty nice, but they could change the old talents to do that. Honestly I saw more spec variation and creative specs before they started changing talents than I do now.

-Epic Quests: Don't just do quests to level and forget about them, the game needs more epic quest chains like they had in vanilla. Bring back class quests with epic rewards (like Quel'serrar), bring back group quests, force people to actually interact with the players around them instead of just AFKing and waiting for queues to pop. Give people a reason to want to go out into the world and not stand in town all day, but don't force people into doing daily quests so much that they hate it.

Cata/MoP babies and casuals will probably look at this and recoil in shock but honestly, these are the things that need to happen to save this game. To actually preserve it as a quality game and not a solo pve grindfest with terrible pvp and rehashed boring pve, these changes NEED to happen. Some of them will in one way or another, others won't because Blizzard knows a big chunk of its fanbase is crybabies who have no clue about game design and don't want to give up flying or LFR to have a better game. That probably sounds meaner than intended but it's true.

    2- Culture protectionism.
I would like to see gear fitting to the race and not the theme. maybe a mix between theme and race characteristics. I don't like the idea of a NE druid looking like a ninja.
I would also like to see specific classes fitting to specific races. Druid trolls or worgen is just wrong. Cow paladins is even worse. Even though they managed to fit them in lorewise, it still feels like a cheap shot.
I would also like to see weapons customized to races as well: Glaves for night elf warriors - or maybe a totem for a tauren warrior like what you see in the classic cinematic

3-Race major cities revamped and more relevant to their races making them more alive

    4- Redemption of Illidan

    5- Tougher 5 man heroics
    1. We'll likely get race-specific Garrisons, I mean as of right now, we really don't know all there is to know about Garrison's and the models already currently exist for it to be applicable. I'm guessing it'll be in from the start.

    2. I would honestly love to see this, and I'm sure it will come about one day, but it would require leagues more gear to be made for all the races and in effect cause patches to drag out way longer.

    3. I would love this, absolutely love it, but we wont see it. Not at this rate, every one will just sit in Orgrimmar and Stormwind regardless. I do agree that places like Ironforge and Undercity need updates.

    4. This is happening, Illidan is going to come back. Even Metzen has hinted at it at times.

    5. Hopefully this is what we get in WoD, seems like we might actually get it.

    1. Ethereals and Arakkoa to be playable, pref. Arakkoa for the Alliance and Ethereals for the Horde. The now-neutral sect of Arakkoa in Outland follow the Naaru and thus are Light-worshippers, and they add a large amount of diversity to the Alliance. They also seem very intelligent and not inherently evil. Ethereals just seem like a fit for Horde, with their moral ambiguity and their exile from their homeworld. They're essentially world-travelling outcasts, something orcs and to a lesser extent pretty much all other Horde races can empathize with. It almost seems like too perfect of a fit if you think about it.

    2. More engaging, challenging and fun content that is not raiding. After eight years of playing this game and mostly raiding since I hit 60, and then 70, then 80, then 85, then 90, I'm frankly burnt out on raiding and I know many other people who are as well. The system is no longer entertaining and I'd like to see more 5-man and solo content. MoP improved this a lot and was a step in the right direction, with Brawler's Guild, Proving Grounds (seriously, getting Endless 30 as a healer when I've pretty much never healed a raid was pretty brutal), Timeless Isle and world rare spawns stand out.

    3. A continent where flying is restricted entirely. Controversial, maybe, but flying contributes nothing but further spoiling the lazy and impatient people.

    4. Rethinking the changes they made to Affliction and Demonology warlocks. I hate to say they might need another revamp after they already got one so soon, but I don't think it has to be that far. Just put aff more on the focus of multidotting and revert Haunt to the way it was, and set Demonology's starting fury to higher or even just take it back a cooldown reduced by procs.

    5. Old talent trees back in at least some form. Illusion of choice? Maybe, but making wonky hybrid specs, and just in general messing around with talents was fun and there's really no reason they were removed. It made alts feel more fun and just in general made the game feel more personal.

1.Remove LFR (this is a menace for playablity and guilds)
2.More options to redisign you character (face, hair+more authentic colors, body size, clothes dye etc) in game free of pay.
3.The option a guild to have them own building and members get benefits according to them rank.
    4.Better graphics
    5.Vanilla raids

1- Unfortunately with WoD we won't. At least this is what I have been told on Twitter.

2 & 3- Yes, I agree. But if implemented incrementally, it would be possible.

4- Metzen only pointed that he loves a redemption story. Maybe with a Legion expac Illidan will return.
