    Computer build

    Ok so i have the money and am ready to order the parts.

    This is what i have.

    What other hard drive is good other then the western digital caviar blue?

    Can someone recommend a good optical drive?

    also what's the difference between the Asus GTX660-DC2-2GD5 and the Asus GTX660-DC2O-2GD5?

    Thanks, why do most optical drives say they only support up to windows vista? Also i may order everything from one place instead a bunch of different places, and newegg is sold out of caviar blue, what is another good hard drive?

    Caviar Black, but it's gonna cost a bit more.
    Not sure about the support for optical drives, I haven't used one at home for over 6years, and the one we have at work works from win XP to win 8.

    Thanks for the info, probably going to go with the 4330. do you know the difference between the GTX 660's?

    Can anyone else recommend an optical drive? all of the ones i've looked at say they support up to windows vista.

    The "O" Version (Asus GTX660-DC2O-2GD5) is overclocked from the get go. Apart from that i don't see any difference.
    I'd suggest getting the overclocked version except it is far more expensive in your country, but i doubt it.

    99% of drives should work out of the box, with no additional drivers needed. Just put it in, lock it in place, plug the cables in and start up.

    He talking about external one, I assume?

    usually they should work flawlessly ... i've you want to be on the save side, order the drive from a retailer that allows easy returns like amazon.
