A new app will allow total strangers to ID you and pull up all your information, just by looking at you and scanning your face with their Google Glass. The app is called NameTag and it sounds CREEPY.
The "real-time facial recognition" software "can detect a face using the Google Glass camera, send it wirelessly to a server, compare it to millions of records, and in seconds return a match complete with a name, additional photos and social media profiles."
Seems like a stalkers paradise to me, what do you guys think?

I don't want everyone who looks at me to instantly know what my name is and what my social media profiles look like. I'm a little bit scared of this tech and the way it can develop in the future.

Oh my god so creepy. Somebody wearing the ever conspicuous google glass can conspicuously speak to their google glass in order to launch an application that takes several seconds to launch, conspicuously snap a photo and take several seconds sending that photo to a (likely voluntary) facial recognition database that contains 0.001% of the human population and within several seconds know stuff, like your name!
