This is um.. Well ladies and gentlemen, this has me speechless. (and as most of you know, that's pretty hard to do)
Your thoughts?

This is not surprising at all. I've seen police grab ambulance responders by the throat and threaten them. I've seen police block entry to a hospital to a pregnant woman in labor because she was speeding to the hospital. Not to mention the 492384092384 other things we've all seen.

Im atleast speechless. I cannot find any way to justify the cops action
I'm going to call bullshit, since if an officer knows you're in labor they will almost always escort you to the hospital themselves. I'm not saying they are always right, but at least every police department I've ever known someone associated with, they escort mothers to the hospital so that they may get there faster.
OT: This seems to be a really dramatic misunderstanding. I believe that the officer had reasons for wanting the truck moved, but I see no reason to arrest the fire fighter unless he became violent. Without knowing more, I will say that both were likely partially to blame.
ah cops, give a man a grain of power over other peoples lives..

I can understand doing this after it's over but during a Rescue Operation? Priorities folks! I doubt he did anything wrong(The Firefighter) but this is asinine.

I'm sure most police would do this but a 2 second google search showed me a very similar case.

I wouldn't put the CHP in the same category as "cops", these guys tend to give police officers (in California at least) a bad reputation to begin with. They are pretty notorious for being asinine. I recall several news reports over the years where they arrested their family members for similar stunts.
To play devil's advocate, the officer probably wanted to get the vehicle off the road so that it wouldn't cause a disruption of traffic. I don't see much happening here beyond both of them getting a stern talking to. Both parties seem to be in the right- The police officer wants to make sure that traffic moves smoothly, the firefighter wants to keep his patients in a physically stable position.
If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.
a cop has to be a real jackass to arrest a firefighter
Milk was a bad choice.

the reporter - Angelique Lizarde has a very sexy voice and looks good in that report. I couldn't find a good picture of her though ...
Back to topic - the reporter is hot and I watched video 3 times just for her.
Off topic - emergency response team should work together.
but seriously, anyone has a good picture of her?

He was also involved in a lawsuit, so I would like to see an update on that case :P. I saw the article, I would call that a one in a million situation with an officer that is likely working at a gas station now. I still feel like the situation you saw may have been a case where it looked like something but it was actually something else. They are still allowed to write you tickets, but I've never heard of an officer who would ever block someone before they get the help they need.
Fixed.
On a serious note, has anyone else notice that its only the bad incidents that make it into the lime light ? How about some positive news about police officers for a change ?

However these never make it into the forums or onto the news.
I wonder if the ppl who think cops would actually routinely block a pregnant woman access to a hospital because she was speeding think cops just leave wounded assault or worse suspects to bleed out in the jail cell.
