    25 Heroic Spoils

Just not making the timers, and we def got the dps, just the pathing is wrong. Can someone post their detailed pathing guide to help us speed up.

    Pretty simple rules to follow

    1. Open the two Pandaren boxes right away (doesn't matter side)
    2. Open a large right away.
    3. Open smaller boxes at a pace you can handle.
    4. Once bigger add is dead open 2nd Big box and pace yourself again on opening the smaller ones

You can pop hero on whichever side your slow on the large add or run out of cd's. Make sure everyone is cleaving off the priority target.. Pretty easy fight just make sure the healers are using the buff properly and it helps if your tank can do a ton of dps

I can't imagine it has anything to do with pathing? Start at a big box, work your way around until 36 energy, open the second big box.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF7oNOCJOF0 Here's the pathing we use, though this was our first kill and we used a dumb strategy that involved only killing one boss, that increased the DPS requirements.

If you have the tank and healer buff, tell your DPS to stop cleaving or aoe-ing and focus entirely on single target because the passive tank and healer buff cleaves will destroy anything with low HP.

For mogu side, since the damage from the bigs is much higher than mantid, we do:

    1- Panda boxes
2- Open big with the 2 smalls next to it
3- AE down the smalls unless Burial Urn in which case it gets nuked down fast
4- Kill off big guy while keeping stone guys under control
5- Open 2 more smalls then next big
    6- Same as step 3
    7- Same as step 4
8- Open 2 mediums at a time killing Anima golem as full burn while off dotting the other type.
9- Do that 2 more times and win the side

Mantid side is much less structured. It is just the 2 panda boxes then a big. Kite the big around slowly while opening 4 total smalls and 3 mediums, then open next big when first one and the 3 mediums and dead. Kill the next big while opening 3 more mediums and win.

Better understanding of both the buffs and quicker opening of the boxes sound like your problem. If the boxes aren't opened then they can't have dps done to them. The tanks need to get really creative here, our primary kill was tight as well, but not due to shortage of dps, it's just speed. Open em up fast, gather, pew pew like you mean it, and even before they even hit the floor, move on. Once the tank has aggro he/she needs to be considering a move to the next one.

Possibly spread responsibility to the dps to open boxes when necessary (at the tail end of the fight I break off a boss to open a medium at around 20-10%)

Speed. This fight is about how quickly you can open dem boxes and how much punishment your raid can endure while doing that. The more you can, the happier time you'll have. There's not a whole lot of room for caution here. Every little second counts, so don't wait for that minute bit of health on a medium add or Panda to drop off before opening another. Do it. Do it now.
I have eaten all the popcorn, I left none for anyone else.

^This is 100% correct. Basically you just want to get your Panda Buffs ASAP and try to utilize opening CDs/trinkets/procs on the first big box so it goes by quickly. I've seen some groups save the big boxes for last and it is not a good idea - all your CDs are down, trinkets aren't guaranteed to proc, etc.

The real key when first progressing on this is to try to see where your limit is in terms of how many boxes you can handle at once. Ideally you should never have just the large box up, there should also be some smalls up to catch cleave. Additionally, start opening your next boxes once the large is around 10%. NEVER have nothing open, always start opening your next set of boxes when the previous set are around 10%.

Also, tanking everything near the middle of the room (especially the large box), helps with sparks and random small mobs because most cleave will hit them.

Finally, Healer Buff is pretty huge. If you get healer buff then sparks should almost be a non-issue if the healers properly position themselves.
