The entire point of regulations is to get a company to conform to the standards of the government. If you want to look at China in terms of formal regulation, it's one of the highest: #137 in terms of economic freedom http://www.heritage.org/index/ranking . If you want to argue that they are not being regulated because they can replace those high regulations with backroom deals where they do what the government says.. that's supplanting one deal with another. It doesn't change that regulations are present, and doesn't change that the country exhibits high levels of government control over the country's economic policies.
So, basically you're arguing that every country is pretty heavily regulated. That's fine by me, I don't happen to agree since I see a marked difference between official and unofficial regulation, but you'll just have to live with that I think.

Heres another reality check: The wages of a majority of these so called exploited workers has actually risen along with their standard of living drastically over time. http://www.businessweek.com/globalbi...923_316936.htm

The mass extraction, production, and distribution of a natural resource on a global scale is never cheap.

"For these laborers, their only other current options are prostitution to try to get the resources they need"

"You think they are only good to get your dick wet!"
By drastically do you mean from begging to not begging? Then you would be right. But if you think it has improved you are wrong. Those already with money and power however, gained more money and power. But for average workers, things did not improve much.

There is another angle to it. Domestic industry can not grow as it can not compete with the international companies, as a result people can not create work by themselves, thus making the need for international businesses for survival necessity.

Also, you have linked the wrong article as this article is about engineers (the well educated part of the population, the one that is not getting exploited) richer. It has nothing on the living condition of workers in factories.

how so? Keep in mind, under capitalism, U.S. would have completely been destroyed in this recession (economically). Banks have failed, and with that businesses that relied on banks. If gov't did not bail out bank (socialism) what would have happened?

How so? In any system, the majority never gets the say. It always been few. So, if the few are dicks, does it mean the majority is dicks?

Corporations does not have conscious. That is the point. Their motivation is greed. That is why they exist. Its just is.

Communism never really had a chance to be tried out.
Pre-Stalinist Soviet Russia may have been more true Communion-Socialism as it was lead by Lenin and Trotsky, they had more rights and was a republic... but I am not sure. I would have to do more research. What I do know, however, that Stalinist Russia and all of her puppets were NOT communist. It was as communist as North Korea is free. Calling yourself communist and keeping the sickle and hammer on your flag doesn't make you any less for a freedom-hating fascist dictatorship,

How can it lack a conscience yet be motivated by something as human as greed? Corporations are just groups of people. What I'm saying is by no means a solution, but to even begin to address a problem you have to understand it. Simplifying and demonizing just makes it harder.

I think he might be referencing how the constitution/law refers to a corps as humans having rights when a corporation doesn't necessarily have rights, the members of the corp do.
