Any old quests you miss?

As the title above mentions, do you miss any of the old quests before the whole revamp in cata?

My personal favorite was actually in Northrend and it was the battle for Undercity after completing the wrathgate chain quests =/

I have nostalgia about the totem quests. But I think it'd be a pain to actually go and get them if I was to re-level a shaman.

Ancient Petrified Leaf without a doubt. Had it on 2 hunters on my old account, I never knew I'd miss it this much.

Yes, definitely this one! I did the chain with another toon and was really dissapointed when it came to this chapter. I had to find out "the hard way" there is no battle anymore.

The questchain isn't out of the game but I really loved the Nagrand Hemet Nesingwary quests when they were groupquests. Also the killquests

I miss the long quests in vanilla. Allso I hate the small questhubs since cata. There is no enriched stories hidden around anymore now its 5 quests an carry on to next. Its too damn linear now a days.

I miss the entirety of Duskwood. I prefer the old Duskwood to the new one.

I always really liked the Onyxia atunement quest.

I miss the old Westfal, except for boars without livers.

The crazy well hidden quests like Sully Balloo which started from a Dwarf corpse stuck under a boulder in the water under Thandol Span.
or those quests which started from scrolls hidden under the elevator in Thousand Needles.

Also I would like some of those long quests that require you to travel the world back though they worked better without flying.
Having to go a small island off the coast of Azshara to meet a gnome in a gyrocopter which was so far away from anything at the time brings back good memories of actual adventures to me instead of the go to the blue spot on the map, kill the guys with red names and collect the shining items linear stuff we have now.

Paladin Charger Quests, heck all of the class quests like getting your void lord etc.

They removed it because they changed undercity into the state after the battle. I miss all the old quests that were removed. The epic hunter quest, raid pre-quests, the quest in Hellfire where you find the Maghar and tell Thrall about it and the part in Nagrand where Thrall visits his grandmother and shows Garrosh what happened to his father. Especially the quest in Nagrand was very important for Garrosh's character development.

i really like the really long quests chains.
onyxia attument, dreadsteed, ubrs key, even aq opening quest (except some parts )
now when you are leveling 90 you are already done with all quests.

never did hunter bow or priest staff quest, makes me sad

However crazy this might seem, I miss the most ugliest, craziest and time consuming quests, that I would hate to do ever again on any character.
But finishing them was so cool

To name a few:
* The Love Potion (Blackrock Depths, allowed to exit Grim Guzzle without making a mess)
* Mallet of Zul'Farak (used to summon the last boss)
* quest keys: Shadowforge key (need to die in BRD to obtain the quest :-), Scholomance Key, Master's Key (Karazhan),
* The wind seeker (still in the game, took me 2 years to get the drops)
* warrior's defensive stance quest / paladin's resurrection Quest.

I think, that some of these quests (keys) can easily return to the game, with account-bound rewards or NPC: "You do not have it? Oh.. don't worry. I can borrow mine for say 1G!".
Defensive stance: trained from quest reward at lvl 10+ or automatically learned at lvl 15, if you skip the quest while levelling.


Some easier quests:
* Oh Brother... (this quest rewarded Miner's Revange - a pickaxe, EVERY of my ally miners had it, and I replaced it on main char wit Panderen Pickaxe like... three weeks ago... by the way I noticed, that I do not need pickaxe any longer),
* Dominic's and Joseph the Crazed's quests in Scarlet Monastery,
* Bearer of bad news (again BRD)
* Tears of the moon (Telstrassil)

Even Illusionary choice, is still a choice!

Pretty much every Vanilla quest that got removed with Cata. I fucking hate revamped Azeroth, made the quest dull and on rail!
