Hi all, for those who use to play RF-online & enjoyed it but gave up on the game when codemaster was running it. you will all know the servers got shut down years ago.

if you are like myself and want to start playing it again, after some goggling i came across the reboot for it ( RF-online v1.5) im not sure if its a private server ( if it is sorry for advertising it) or the official EU server for the rebooted version...

anyone come back and check it out. Ive just started playing it myself and im liking it ( feel like a noob 1s again lol ).

I actually wouldn't mind returning to it. I remember having a lot of fun when I first tried it out with my friends. Used to play for Accretia

Heh, I remember playing this for a while when it launched, was somewhat interesting.

I honestly don't think it will last too long with Games Campus though, they have a history of short turnarounds with the MMO's the develop/acquire : /

I'm starting to get the same feeling, the server crashed at 4:00pm GMT and its still not back up yet :/ hopefully it becomes a success though

Honestly, I'm surprised anyone picked it back up after I think I remember it being shut down with its previous publisher. These small time low budget MMO publishers truly confuse me. They constantly invest in dead MMO's only to run them for as little as 3 months before shutting them down, or will develop brand new MMO's that barely last a year. It's obvious from the start that the MMO isn't going to make much, so I'm really curious as to what the development/acquisition budget looks like that allows them to still manage to turn a profit on many of these games.
