Anyone playing Don't Starve?

I just started playing Don't Starve a few days ago and am pretty much addicted. I think the longest I have survived is 27 days, but died in winter

What is the longest you've lasted?

Love the game, and generally love roguelikes, but it irks me that the beginning is always boring/the same. So when you die you have to do everything again. Somehow quit playing it because of that.
