Do you want to see more Caverns of Time dungeons in the future?

For me Caverns of Time dungeons are epic and it's really sad that we didn't get a new CoT dung during Mists of Pandaria (or any other dungeon -.-).

In TBC we had Escape from Durnholde Keep and Opening the Dark Portal. WotLK added Culling of Stratholme and Cata added the best dungeons in the game to this day: End Time, Well of Eternity, Hour of Twilight.

Now in WoD we will be involved in time traveling so it's a great time to have new dungeons in the Caverns of Time.

Do you want to see more Caverns of Time dungeons in one of the WoD patches or in the future expansions?

Yes, I enjoyed them as well. I figured the reasons for not having a CoT in MoP was related to scenario development and lore wise the Bronze dragonflight weakened after Cata.

If they are built like Hillsbrad, large open area where you get to see history and surroundings with nice little lore easter eggs around instead of dull linear crap like Strath that's just self-repetition or abhorrent Twilight instances that manage not only be linear and dull, but very short and hamfisted as well.

I think that with the advent of the Bronze Dragonflight loosing their grasp on controlling the timelines there should be more "What if?" alternate reality dungeons and scenarios that we can toy with. Like End Time only better.

It's a circle with like eight or ten different portals, already. If it wasn't for Dalaran (and the portal to it from Shrine) it'd be a gigantic pain to go there.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

That cavern of time concept has a lot of potential.

However, i utterly hated how the dungeons were made - especially durnholde and stratholme.

So much pointless unskippable chatting between characters, it makes a 15 minute dungeon run into a 20+ minute for no reason...

As long as they make all the talking skippable, i dont mind more cavern of time stuff.

Yes, I actually like them. It's a refreshing change once in awhile when dungeon grinding.

I actually liked it because it would slow Go!go! go! ADD people the fuck down, don't need to rush everything in the damn game!

I've always wanted a dungeon (or maybe battleground) set during the First War, with lots of homages back to Warcraft 1

If they fixed the shitty thing in Durnholde that meant any party member can start Thrall before anyone has cashed the quest I would be fine with all the rest. Also the drake ride should be faster.

I don't like timed trash fights like the one in Black Morass either. Violet Hold drives me nuts as well. At least speed up the timer and/or make it based on when the last boss died!

The detail and RP in those dungeons is phenomenal though.

I hate that about any dungeon, CoT dungeons especially. I would have genuinely liked most of the CoT dungeons without such ridiculously boring RP. Possibly not Old Hillsbrad, but definitely the others, tuning issues aside.

There are just so many different dungeons they could come up with. I'm getting a little tired of being overwhelmed with scenarios instead of time put into quality dungeons.

Bring back themed sets of dungeons! More dungeons for less development time!

I think CoT could be cool for scenarios, you just kinda get to go back and see cool shit happen.

Yeah I think CoT is a very interesting story telling mechanic

I don't think it needs to just be 5 mans, scenarios would work well as well!

Doesn't have to be in CoT though, everything that has time travel works for me

Since most of those instances take place in the past, a few more in the future would help balance things out.

What about an old stormwind or a lordaeron huge cot instance

Yes, most of them are fun! (except that portal opening crap).

Hah... hah... "in the future..." I c wut u did thar...

*cough* anyway, yeah, it'd be awesome to see more CoT dungeons. Design-wise, I prefer somewhere like Stratholme, where they take somewhere unique that's been utterly destroyed since and show you what it would have looked like back when it was functioning as... whatever it was. Durnholde had a little bit of this in Tarren Mill and the keep itself, but those were all run-of-the-mill props and whatnot.

Black Morass was kind of a cop-out in that regard, seeing as the area they stuck you in looked absolutely nothing like blasted lands topographically.

However, seeing as we wont really be doing anything on azeroth and all of the outland stuff that would have "taken place in the past" is basically what we're zipping to, I don't really think CoT will really fit in "story-wise" unless they kick us some cool "for the lols" dungeons... though, come to think of it, that's pretty much what CoT dungeons are.

If you can skip the RP crap (nothing more fun than waiting for 6 minutes of unskippable Arthas brabble, or 5 minutes of watching Thrall dress and running around), and there is no three minute wait for portals to open after each boss, that would be great.

Definately, they are usually my favorite 5-man dungeons of the expansion. In fact it seems they are, Old Hillsbrad is my favorite TBC dungeon, CoT in WotLK and Well of Eternity in Cata. The MoP dungeons don't even compare to the awesomeness. Not really a fan of Black Morass, End Time and HoT though, but I loved Hyjal as a raid.
