1 tank 1 heal Heroic Spoils 10 man strategy

Since I couldn't find very much information on a 1 tank 1 heal strat and most of this was made up as we went along I figured I'd share this with the raiding community.

    Brewmaster tank - 570ish ilvl
    Holy Pally - 567 ilvl
    1 Mdps
    7 Ranged dps - 2 being locks
    (Dps ranged from 563-572 ilvl)

Total= 2 larger 6 Med and 4 small. There were some mis-clicks on almost every pull so we may have had more then we needed and had to change the total we opened. This was the idea, there were some deviations but they were opps not intentional.

    Room 1(Mantid Side)
Pull -Lust and burn= Large + 4 Med at 20% on large Dps starts to change sides as fast the the chain will let them go. Open 2 more Med+1 more large aoe it all down. Room 1 is nothing more then a raw zerg, your just trying to get out of this room and have ever one on the other side asap. This is the hardest room in the encounter by far from a dps, tanking and healing standpoint.

Healer changes sides after the 2nd large and all Meds are down once damage is under control. Monk uses Transcendence to get up top and changes sides. At this point the last couple of dps in room 1 just open and burn smalls. We left our Spriest last so he could disperse if sparks became an issue.

    Room 2(Mogu Side)
As soon as the tank is in the room open a large use 2nd pots and burn it down, if your able mix in some Med or a couple of smalls in depending on how the remaining dps is doing in the 1st Room. Need to be careful not to overrun the people left in room 1 with sparks. Open a 2nd large as soon as you have 8-9 people in the room and blow it up. Kill Meds+Smalls as needed to unlock the next room.

    Rooms 3(Mantid)+ Room 4(Mogu)
These rooms really were no diff then normal and required almost no coordination since you have double chains to use at this point. We started sending dps over after the 1st large was dead since time wasn't an issue getting get people to the other side with 2x chains.

We had about 30 wipes total and most of them were spent getting room 1 done fast enough that we could afford downtime as we were sending people over to the other side. This may not be ideal for a lot of teams but if your struggle with raid coordination or have one weak healer this may be a viable strat to consider. We did try the normal strat a couple of times and it became very clear that we didn't have the raid comp or a 2nd healer that was capable of keeping up with the damage. Overall this wasn't a hard fight using this method and it really didn't take us very long to down it. Once we had Rooms 1+2 down it only took like 3 or 4 pulls to get rooms 3+4 down and beat the enrage. Most of our wipes were less then 2 minutes into the fight, we downed this with out any grief.

Before anyone thinks this was some type of fluke my team had more then 130 wipes on Malkorok and more then 100 on Dark Shamans. We don't have any high end DPS that do absurd damage, this is your run of the mill 3 night a week progression team. If your raid lacks coordination and tends to fall short on dps this may help you out. You only needs a couple of people to play exceptionally well to get a kill.
