I have been looking at my gems lately and I have been wondering, is gemming for PvP Power worth it over gemming for main stats like strength, agility, intellect? If so, is it worth gemming over other useful stats like mastery, crit, haste?

No, PvP power become almost entirely pointless to gem after the patch that cut it in half.
The one case it might be useful would be for a non-healer, in a blue socket, in a hybrid gem, if you are otherwise over the PvP hit cap and want the socket matching bonus.
