When it comes to discussing misconduct with police and minorities it's hard to not mention race since often times minorities are treated more harsh and more likely to be prejudged thanks to racial profiling.

Seriously. 100% seriously. I really don't understand why a large amount of people try to pretend that minorities aren't targeted by police. I usually sum it up to white privilege and ignorance, but reading some of these posts and replies, it is like some of them are holding a grudge or prejudice against these racial minorities.

because the homeless guy in seatle was white. it is entirely possible those police officers were dicks just cos they were Dicks. just because it maybe wouldn't have happened to him if he would have been white doesn't mean it was necessarily racist, just as i could make the argument that it wouldn't have happened if he were a woman, Ergo it was SEXISM!
it was police brutality, and malfeasance, but no part of that video was racist, so the headline should be, shitty cops do shitty things.
