I love to collect items in wow to the point that I paid subscriptions just to be able to continue farming useless items in old content raids every week.

Farmed this one alone...non stop farming of a 5% chance drop trinket..you have no idea how difficult it is to summon this boss. Farm mobs, farm pots, farm mini bosses- Kill Terokk....repeat

Farmed this for a whole year! Worth it. Still use it on BG's just for the lolz. (paied the subs just to login once every week. lol nerd)

Farmed the World boss alone for almost a year...was able to get the the drop from the world boss dragon that no longer exists. Blizzard was kind enugh to make it drop on Molten Core. Not as rare as it was. Summons a cool pet for 2min lol...worth it? xD

I bought it for something like 1k gold and it's been in my bank ever since... The weird part is, it should not exist in the game. I have no idea how it found its way into live when supposedly during beta devs decided to replace it with Spirit of Harmony.

I am the same type of player that you are, meaning i like to farm these 'useless' items until i get them (approaching around 100? kills on Rattlegore just to get Doctor Krastinov to spawn, no luck thus far). I remember being told by a player who had the simian sphere to farm Heigan the Unclean trash in order to obtain this item. I took what he said with a grain of salt since i know farming for low % drop items can take A LONG time but i can tell you that after about three months of continuously farming Heigan trash i finally saw it drop. Needless to say i almost shat myself and let out a nerdscream when i realized it wasn't just another random trash epic and that it was ACTUALLY the item i had been farming for.

A lot of people are pretty OCD about collecting teleporters, myself included. A near-complete list of available teleporters appears in the comments at http://www.wowhead.com/item=64457#comments . It needs Brassiest Knuckles (Brawler's Guild) and Time-Lost Artifact (Timeless Isle) but is otherwise OK.

My favorite kind of items are the ones you can use to have advantage on Bg's/ world pvp

Creates a clone of yourself (later they released a Glyph that does the same). I macro it with vanish or smoke bomb
And I saw this one being used on a Pvp Rogue video

Makes you untargetable for 5 min if you are out of combat. Also lots of potential for rogues.
I also used the enchant of engineering that Mind Controls (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=67839/m...ification-dish). Even when it missed it made you a friendly target for your opponent for 10 seconds...meaning you would get out of combat and ready to spam stealth
Another trolish thing to do in pvp is /use trinkets that summon Pets and allies to fight for you. Sometimes your enemy have no idea of what is going on and thinks its a rogue that just poped out of stealth. (http://www.wowhead.com/item=65176 used this on Cataclysm)
