Ok so I've had this PC for about 7-8 months now and recently the stock fans that came with the case (NZXT Phantom 410 gunmetal) have been doing this weird...sound. It sounds like it's cutting through thin grass every once in a while. I looked inside to see if anything inside is causing the sound and I couldn't find anything so I figure the fan bearing is going bad and it's time to replace them and this is my first time I've ever replaced the stock fans so I need some help with suggestions.
I found these which seem like a popular choice but somewhat expensive.
I'm looking for 120mm as I'm going to replace both the front fans since they're the culprit. Price isn't an issue but I don't want to pay exorbitant amounts. I use the built in fan controller with the Phantom 410 if that's important as I find that just easy to switch with a flick if it's needed. Oh yeah, Canadian here for prices and pref Ncix or Newegg. My power supply is the Corsair CX600 if that's important also.
I have the Cougar Turbine case fans and they are amazing. 4 for $20 on NCIX.ca quite often. I wouldn't get the Hydro Vortex one's to be honest, not for that kind of money when the Turbines can be had for less.
