Need Help! 566 Disc Stuck on Norm Garrosh - Have Logs

I too was growing increasingly bewildered that this thread could get this far with this much misinformation. The point stands that a disc is there to put up absorbs, the actual healing is more than covered by other healers. Deliberately nerfing yourself to do something that either 1-2 or 3-5 other healers are already doing better than you is foolish.

While crit is the best stat, it's my understanding that you don't want to completely ignore mastery since it has so much synergy with crit and absorbs.

You can't really "ignore" mastery, though. Assuming you do it right and prioritise Crit>Mastery>Haste<=>spirit, then you will end up with a ton of mastery anyway. The different pieces of gear you can get would be;

Mastery+Crit. - Ideal.
Haste+Crit. - Reforge haste to mastery.
Spirit+Crit. - Reforge spirit to mastery.
Mastery+Haste. - reforge haste to crit.
Spirit+Haste. - reforge haste or spirit to crit.
Spirit+Mastery. - reforge spirit to crit.

So literally the only pieces of gear you wouldn't end up having mastery on, would be Spirit+Haste pieces. Worst case scenario and you have EVERY piece of that, it'll be... Offhand+neck+boots+ring+bracers+gloves+helm+chest+weapon. Leaving Cloak, legs, a ring, belt, and 2x trinkets for other stats. And that's a horrible fucking scenario, mind.

Good point, if you're reforging correctly you're bound to end up with it.
