90 boost and RAF bonus levels

Sorry if this question already has been asked, but if my newbie RAF friend boosts his level 1 to 90, will he be able to grant me those (42 or w/e) levels?

No, the levels are granted from actually leveling. The boost occurs on the character creation screen and starts you on the Timeless Isle. Therefore, there were no levels "gained" from questing, etc.
