    Do PvPers hate Childrens Week

Was just wondering what you PvP fans out there think of childrens week where a lot of us PvEers invade your BGs to get the School of hard knocks achievement. Most of us don't care about the actual aim of the BG , we just go for what we have to do in it and then leave if we succeed. ( personally I don't - I try for the achievement while trying to help my team win )

This must be extremely frustrating for those who love PvP

    Actual PvP'ers don't really do non-rated bg's.
That do are mostly casuals or bots.

    lol no.

I love children's week. You really do see a lot of people that never pvp pussing around out there. It's quite hilarious to troll them. It's really one of the very few times I really troll in game, as I'm usually quite helpful.

    Best story:
Warrior with Shadowmourne had flag in EotS and was not capping at FR, since we were down 1 tower to 3. There were probably 5-6 dudes telling him to cap it so they could get the flag. He said "/bg It is very inappropriate for me to cap with only 1 base, get us up 3-1 and I'll cap" or something like this. Of course, people were pissy and saying they will just let him die... but what they didn't realize was this warrior had High Warlord title and he had 2 escorts, a Arena Master holy paladin and me, a Battlemaster resto druid. So, he was never doing to die and would almost 1 shot anything that can up.

We won by 27 points after being down almost 1000.

    I love children's week.

Most of players I meet in random don't follow objectives anyway and need to be carried. So I doubt I will notice a difference honestly.

As a PvEer, I hate PvP metas for Children's Week. I think it is pretty ridiculous to have to step foot into a BG just to complete an achievement.

Not as much as the PvE-ers hate it, surely.

The imagery in my head is kind of amazing. I'm almost surprised you didn't get scaled up like a raid boss.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

It's pretty annoying from both sides. I'm so glad I finished all the holiday achievements and got my violet proto drake a loooong time ago

So people who don't want to group with others aren't actual PvPers? Gotcha.

When PVErs do PVP their heads start to hurt because they are used to those scripted mechanics from raids.

Possibly also culture shock from having gotten used to the comparably civilized behavior of raiding. That includes LFR > random BGs, by far.

I once laughed rewatching that scene in "Gladiator" where Maximus quickly organizes and encourages his fellow slaves to win the Carthage reenactment -- that would so never happen in a WoW battleground. The self-appointed Maximus would just spam /bg insulting everyone.

It's an achievement. They're not mandatory. It's the same as if you say "I hate the HC Garrosh meta, I think it's ridiculous to step foot into Heroic SoO just to complete an achievement.".

Same way its rediculous to have to kill Pve bosses for other holiday thongs. It's all a part of the game

Thats not true at all. RBGs dont happen 24/7, there has to be something we can do to dull the boredom..And pwning noobs is one of those things.
