Who ACTUALLY gears there follower?

Why wouldn't I? Half of the appeal of the game is gearing up, and my followers are extra slots for me to keep updated. (I make that sound like I chore, but I don't mean it that way, lol)

Since the patch my scoundrel got huge boost to the dmg,and since im playing DH its quite easy to get good gear for him,sitting right now on 77k dmg and 400k toughness on the follower,pretty good dmg and works in good synergy with rest of my build

Don't see why not. Followers actually do decent dps now to the point where it almost feels like playing with another person. Another person who isn't maybe super geared or super good at what they do, but good enough that they help more than they hinder.

Yep, since smart loot was implemented it's really hard to gear a follower that doesn't use the same stats as you

My enchantress does about 44k damage and I've not even given her the best gear, it's mostly +gold/+magic_find stuff. Reckon it'd be pretty easy to hit 60k+ on her, and I'd imagine the same on the scoundrel.
