89.... 17 bars left. Do dungeons?

The thought of questing to 90 in Dread Wastes is, quite frankly, a dreadful thought.

I only ever did any MoP dungeons on my first character on the way to 90. Didn't really think they were worth doing, as I recall.... and I don't have need for any gear except weapons upgrades, thanks to the Isle.

I realize that 17 bars won't take that long to get to 90, but I'm just not even feeling like I want to spend a few hours questing. I don't PvP due to the fact that I am so bad at it or I might do that......

Is it worth doing dungeons?

I am putting this character aside til I have all blue bars if there isn't a better way to 90..... yeah, I KNOW that is kind of stupid at this point, but I really hate getting from 89 to 90.

from personal experience, dungeons from 89-90 is probably among the most painful leveling you'll experience because of the low amount of exp you'll get from dungeons.

You might want to find a guide including all the treasures in pandaria, they give quite a chunk of HP, its how i level 50% of 89-90.

Dungeons get less and less worthwhile as you level up or complete the dungeon quests. if you're 89 with no rested EXP it's not worth doing dungeons. You can still do them if you want to, but questing will be much faster.

only do instances once for the quests, otherwise they are utterly pointless and give no xp whatsoever

You could also kill the small neutral mobs in Timeless Isle, I think they're called Spotted Swarmers. If you have rested XP up to 90, it'll take you about 30 mins or so of non-stop killing. It took me about an hour to get to 90 from 89 unrested. Give it a try. And hopefully it's not as busy. Otherwise just do dungeons, if you really detest DW that much.

doing dungeons with a full level of double xp won't take very long.

if you have a friend you can always do the tag and kill grind in the north of the barrens its like 5% per pull they drop lessers and they respawn by the time you do one lap.

honestly as it is currently you can do 85-90 in about 5hrs doing that. end up with tons of cloth and a month or more of lessers.

I have been doing pet battles to get my alts to 90. But at like 89.75 I stop and do the short quest-chain in Kunlai summit that gives you the Gummiepack bag upgrade. It ends up being about 8 quests (if you have done nothing in Kun Lai) and they are fairly standard quests, although one of them is an escort quest.

You can try doing pet battles in Valley of 4 Winds, it's aproximately 1% xp per win. Whole level takes around 3 hours to get that way, but you can watch movie meanwhile on another screen or something.

This pretty much if you have a good team that can kill fast or you can try the aquatics in Vale of Eternal Blossom if you have 3 flying pets.

Nah, do Dread Wastes instead honestly, it's faster and about equally painful. OR(!) quest in Dread Wastes while you queue, the instance itself doesn't give a lot of xp, but the 2-3 quest inside do.

Spotted Swarmers on Timeless Isle. Just make sure you're using at least the Shrine and one of the damage increasing consumables(Singing Crystal and/or Book of Ages). That's how I levelled my last few characters from 85-90, and it's really fast if you're on a low-pop server with a low chance of being griefed by douches with the Censer who kill you even though they get nothing from it.
That said, Dread Wastes was always the zone I liked doing the most on the characters I levelled via quests, because the quests are nicely stacked in small areas.

Dread Waste! Do not waste your time on dungeons. Great place for leveling and it takes about 1-2 hours(depends on how fast you are going). But you need to get the zone introduction quest first, from one of the NPC's(can't remember where).

Just have someone boost you in Krasarang Wilds! (That area near the Fishing daily guys). :P Takes maybe 1hr to get from 89-90 if you have someone killing all those lizard-guys for you. They spawn fast and give around 12-18k per mob. Use a banner. And treasure pots.. And you'll have enough coins to get your SoO extra rolls this week too if you loot them all :P

Maybe YOU could do it that fast, LOL..... I am horribly inefficient!

well you need a buddy ofc, preferably a tank, get him to pull all the mobs you tag them he kills them, its a small area you can do a lap in about 20mins or less. i'm not that quick either :P

Yep, I have that.... I have just been flown to Klaxivess..... and that was when the thought of going to 90 there hit me..... and the dread sunk in.....

I know questing has been boring of late across the board, but have you tried, like, going to a different zone maybe? I had trouble completing Dread Wastes even at 90 due to disliking it, so I imagine it's worse without a flying mount.
Usually my characters hit 89 with just 1-2 zones completed (1 if it's Jade forest) while staying in dungeon que (as DPS they're far from instant).
