Shameless RaF link I ended up landing on Shadowlands, playing Empire side. 60 pvp seems to pop pretty well (regs anyway, haven't tried ranked yet since I re-rolled and haven't gotten full expertise yet). The few times I queued up for a FP, it popped pretty quickly and I haven't tried ops yet, but I see groups forming on fleet a lot as well. Given SWTOR has one of the best leveling experiences ever with their class stories and for now, the 12X experience thing is going on. You only have to do those class stories and none of the side quests (though I would say do them at least once - There not bad)

I won't suggest to skip the side quest to new players, they're nice and immersive in the game lore. If you're making your third rep character, though, doing the same planet quest again and again will become unbearingly boring. This bonus is especially good for your alts, but tbh for new subs I'll suggest instead to remove the x12 story bonus and play without.
(There's a vendor on the fleet that sells for free a special bonus removal, I think it's labeled "exotic good" or something)

I'd also like to personally thank every player that used my referral link since I posted it here. I never had that many credits, and the cc I got from the link allowed me to buy some stuff that I really wanted but I could never, ever have had otherwise.
So: thank you, you really helped me a lot.

I can agree with this if it is your first time playing through, especially if you are the type of player who enjoys the journey more than the end. The side quests (planetary lines more than anything) aren't to bad story wise the first time through. However, if you're the type that hates the grind and just want to get to end game quickly, you can't cuss that story boost

Got to level 29 on my Bounty hunter in about 8 hours just doing class missions (and sometimes the bonus missions of said class missions). I also had 25% xp item on. But yeah, definitely planning on doing all 8 stories by the time this is over. It's fantastic. So glad I stopped playing WoW and came back.

Is them mail account your using also the one you used on the deleted account? If it had a referral attached to it, it could be screwing things up when on the old account. I doubt bioware trashes emails. Let's them sends out stuff later.

I do not think so. You should be able to play whichever faction on whichever server you choose.

This is correct. When you use a code you can play your free time wherever you want. You are in no way tied to the person whose code you use.

First MMO that I want to play my alts over my main. Had to make some credits because I kept spending them on alts and had to remember how to play it it's been so long. If you've been debating taking a break from WoW or any other game and SWTOR intrigues you, I implore you to try it. The stories are gun and with the 12x xp event right now it's just fantastic and they made gearing and travel very easy. It feels very much like a single player game for those that just want that, but the social aspect and the other aspects of an MMO are there for those that want that as well.
