What are considered good pets for arena pvp nowadays?
I guess monkey, spider and... what more?

Also saw someone saying he has 2x crane pet, why would you take 2 of the same pets?

I would not recommend a crane but seen some use it.

Spider and crabs are good. Birds are also good vs. melee, especially warriors :/. I usually go with a spider.

Spirit beasts are something to consider because of their healing ability, but I prefer MM in pvp.

think shale spider is pretty good aswell, it gives stats and nets people in their webs

however they are BM pets

If it was in an earlier thread, it was because he didn't know that you can't swap pets after an arena has started.
So the idea was to have 2 - Use 1 Crane CC then swap and use another ( you can't do this in arena anymore )

So there is no reason to have 2 of the same pet in arenas

As Bm i use

1) Shale Spider ( Stats and Web Stun )
2) Silithid ( Stam + Web )
3) Goat ( Slows Casters GCD and Casts by 10% )
4) Wolf ( 5% Crit is a lot of Pressure )
5) Scorpid ( Disarm for Melee Teams )

I use wolf for the crit, crane for the stun/asleep effect, spider for the web, and bird for the disarm. those 4 have always been good to me and worked great. I know people dont like the crane but it comes in handy against locks in my opinion.

I'm far from amazing, but I play as MM and swap out pets depending on what I'm playing against.

Bird of Prey - Disarm
Fox/Goat - Cast Speed Debuff
Crane - Sleep
Spider - Web
