PvP Rogues

I am a Subtlety Rogue and have been using Wound poison for my lethal, and I don't know why anymore. With Battle Fatigue AND Wound poison that's 75% less healing yet healers can still go from 30% to 100% with one or two instant cast spells. Is there honestly any benefit to using this poison because honestly I don't see any effect it has. And no I am not a boosted rogue and this is day one. I have never noticed the effect it had on healing.

If you assume that healer hps = your dps, then Wound poison equal to +10%dps plus additional damage from poison procs (maybe +10%dps, not sure). Deadly poison is about +15% to your dps.

So I might as well use Deadly Poison then?

Never been a big PvPer, but a couple things to keep in mind

- Deadly Poison has a DoT component, if DP is removed/dispelled you'll lose out on that damage whereas Wound Poison's damage is upfront
- DP DoT could break CC, not a big deal for personal CC with Glyph of Blind or Dirty Tricks, but it might effect others

It is a DoT, but if it is reapplied it deals instant damage.
