We're currently standing at 07/14 hc in Siege and we need a few raiders to complement our team.

Right now, we're looking for some of the following:

Healers - Any class
Ranged DPS - Any class

If your class isn't included on the above, you're still encouraged to either contact any officer online if you think you'll be an asset to our team, or drop a comment on this thread.

We do have some requirements which include (but not limited to) the following:
- Decent and finely tuned gear, preferably over 545 ilvl.
- TeamSpeak (no mic necessary)
- Being over 18 years old

Previous raiding experience, decent raiding UI and combat logs are a nice bonus.

For a direct chat, feel free to whisper to any guild member to introduce you to an officer.

A few things you might want to know before asking to join us

Quintessence was formed on Jan 1st, 2007. Since then we've been among the top guilds in the server consistently, and eventhough Cataclysm hadn't treated us well, we managed to recover and starting to pick up pace again.

The guild is ran by some quite experienced raiders, with most of them having more than 3000 raid boss kills on their main character alone. Moreover, three of us having been raid leading and managing every aspect of the guild since WotLk. As such, I think we can safely say that we've learned how to handle raids and individuals, thus getting results without being jerks; we'll show understanding if you have a bad raiding night, or you're not in the mood to raid and want a night off, etc etc. What we DON'T tolerate though, is showing disrespect to another guild member and make our guild look like a bunch of morons to people outside of it. We like our low profile and we want to keep it that way.

Moreover:

- Raiding nights are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20:15-00:00 server time. Repairs are covered from the guild bank as well as consumables, but with some restrictions applied.

- We operate on loot council, seeing that it's the best way to go. Everyone's allowed to ask for items from their first raiding night. If you think you're being treated unfairly in our raids, you're always encouraged to say so, but not during the raid please. Moreover, you can also ask for any crafting mats you need for your gear and we'll try to provide for it, as long as said mats are available in the guild bank.

- We use TeamSpeak and we all contribute to it on an annual basis. You're not asked to speak if you don't feel like it but please make sure you can hear us during the raids. We also allow the use of our TeamSpeak server for social reasons, eg talking to friends over it.

- During raids we might be critical, ask you how you failed, give you a couple of advise if needed. Bearing in mind that we're a multi-national guild, some things might come across as slightly offensive, while the intentions were well-mannered. If you can't understand this, we're not the guild for you I'm afraid. We like our raids being calm as they are right now, and we love our raiders admitting their mistakes during a wipe; it makes it easier to correct and adjust stuff.

- We do like helping people step up their game and we keep logs for that reason. If you think you can get more out of your character and/or improve some aspect of your gameplay, you're more than welcome to ask anything. Speaking of questions, we also don't mind at all helping new players with tactics on bosses, no matter how silly a question might seem to you. It's better (and a lot less embarassing!) than wiping the raid because you're not sure about something.

- We enjoy every single aspect the game can offer us. You'll see quite a lot of us going back to old raids for achievs, transmog runs, pet battles etc.

- We encourage friends and couples playing together. If your friends don't want to raid, they can always get a social spot to enjoy your time with us together.

- If you consider asking to join us please make sure that your gear is good enough for current raiding content, it's finely-tuned (including profession perks) and you can meet the raiding times.
