Returning to my Rogue

Hello all! I haven't raided with my rogue since Wrath of the Lick King; however, I plan on coming back for Warlords of Draenor. I've decided I really want to get my challenge mode set before it disappears, but I am at a complete loss at where to start. Do I have enough time left? Is timeless isle gear enough? What spec should I be?

I couldn't find any rogue specific challenge mode guides, but I found some posts that seemed to imply assassination was the way to go (though these posts were dated). I also had trouble finding an up-to-date Mut PvE guide. Thanks in advance.
