    New Computer

    Hello!

I am looking to buy a new computer in de next few weeks to replace my current 4 year old model.
After allot of research I found a list of parts that fit my 1500€ (2000$) budget. I thought I'd post it here to see what everyone thought of it and if anything could be improved.
This will be a gaming rig playing Wow, Diablo, Skyrim and the upcoming Witcher 3 at 1920x1080. I will not be doing any overclocking

    Case: Cooler master force 500
Case fans: 2* Revoltec Airguard 140mm mounted front and left side
Power: Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 850W
    Motherboard: Asus H87-PRO
    Processor: Intel i5-4670
    Graphics card: Asus GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5
RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis 8GB DDR3-1600 (kit of 2)
    SSD: Samsung 840 evo 250GB
HDD: Western Digital Green Sata 3 1TB
    Windows 8.1 64 bit

I would make a couple of changes to that setup.

Now first of all the PSU that you have selected is Wayy overkill for the setup even at full load the entire system wouldnt use 50% of what the PSU can offer so no need for that
Also for the cpu and mobo since you will not be doing any overclocking that cpu is not really needed and for gaming you can get the same results with something much much cheaper.

I really have no clue about the stores in netherlands but this store was pretty much the first one I found so thats why I was using it as a reference for the prices for various components. I'm guessing if you look through your local stores you might find some better deals even.

With those changes the price should remain roughly the same what you had before but for pure gaming this one will be better due to the beefier GPU

Mobo: http://azerty.nl/8-5602-637032/gigab...sniper-b5.html ( for the funky colors and quite cheap )

Just a note. There is no i5 4670, only a 4670K ( for overclocking ), the other one ( which i guess you meant ) is an i5-4570. The PSU you have chosen is overkill, you would be fine a 600W psu, even with most high end graphic cards. I would personally not recommend the i3 linked above, because an i5 is just superiour over an i3 for gaming. Another reason behind my thoughts is that an i3 will be outdated for most newer games relatively soon, while most i5 processors ( like the 4570 and 4670K ) will still be able to keep up for a good 5-6 years.

Regardless, at that budget there's no reason not to get a 4670K + Z87 setup.
