I'm rather concerned, as it may very well be possible that my professor is a fascist. She has mentioned gun control on several occasions and she has always takes an anti-Second Amendment stance. I'm not talking about background checks or anything either, she has come out and mentioned banning all guns several times.

She's trying to be subtle about it, by saying things like "for instance, if I think all guns should be banned," but she hasn't come out and said that she personally supports any form of gun control. While I have no solid proof yet, she has mentioned banning guns on countless occasions, far too many times to simply be a coincidence.

What do you guys think I should do? If my classmates and I find concrete proof, should we report her to the college board?

First of all, that's not what fascism means in any capacity.

Secondly, report her on what grounds. That she's anti gun? Exactly what bearing does this have on her professorial abilities, and furthermore, what rules or laws is she breaking?

The second amendment only guarantees that the government can't ban all guns. It doesn't say anything about the views of private individuals or corporations.

It's fine to disagree with her on this issue, but you're going way past what is a reasonable reaction here.

Since you say professor, I would imagine you are talking about college, in that case I say if people aren't smart enough not to differentiate between a teachers personal opinion and actually professional objective teachings; then college isn't for them.

Are they saying gun-control should apply more harshly to particular ethnic groups? If you're worried about fascism that is the kind of thing you should be looking out for.

If they're only looking at it from a safety point of view they're likely no more fascist than Canada.

I suggest you check her background thoroughly. This could be the beginning of an invasion of the worst kind... they're going to infiltrate our college education system and teach students that everyone has an opinion. What will we do then? Only you can find the dirt on her, report her, and get this fixed of before it starts!
