    Hello Tercio,

just did a quick test ( i really need to sleep now ) with my Ele:

    Searing Totem is in
Liquid Magma is in ( maybe it was already befor, duno)
    Storm Elemental Totem is in
Fire and Earth Totem and their Primal versions are in as well.

and it seems to work well, at least i didnt found any major bug this short testing.

Except that the Meele Attack of the Fire- and Earthelemental totem are not seperated.
Both get listed as the same "Spell" named " Meele (Primal( if talentet) Fire or Earth Elemental).
If you cast FET it´s named Meele (Fireelemental )
And if you cast the Earthelemental in the same Fight the Line starts blinking and switching between Fire and Earth Elemental and the Valu of the Second casted Ele gets addet to the first one.

I hope you know what i mean.

But thats maybe not even a bug and could be intendet to work so????

It´s not big of a Deal, and barly worth my coment i guess.

Thank you for add my Pets to the my Spell section, i really like that!

    Thanks!!!!

    Valeu.

We have a mage in our guild named "Party". I think because of something in Blizzards API he does not show up on anyone's damage meters. Dont know if this is something that can be tested by you or not, but I figured I would bring it up.

It's a separate issue, but have you reported this to Blizzard? Because that sounds like a bug.

Is there a way you can add an option, or make it default. Lets say for example I go to "Damage Taken by Spell"

I then can hover over the bars and get the list of people, inside the tooltip, who have taken that damage

My question is, in addition to it being in the tooltip, can we make it so that if we click on the bar it shows the tooltip information in the window instead of reporting? There is already a button on the title bar for reporting the info in the window, I don't understand why there has to be multiple things that report information.

That is the ONE thing so far that I miss about skada while using this addon and to me its pretty big becasue its a huge quality of life issue for me to have to hover over the spell all the time.

The tooltip is actually to make it easier to see the damage, so you doesn't need to left-click to see the results, after that right-click to go back and sometimes even needing to scroll to see all results.

I guess your case is an exception because what you want is a way to see it on real time during the encounter or many times after it, so having to hover over all the time is an issue. I'll think in a solution for this problem.

Maybe im just missing a setting or something, but is it possible to change the "Deaths" tooltip from a fixed amount of spells to a time? I don't really need to see that a tank got in the last 1.1 seconds some hots, I would like to see why hit him with a brick in the face and for what.

At the moment, no. But this is an old complaint which has been on our wishlist for weeks already, it's just a mater of time to get an option to increase the size.

And maybe an option to change the minimal amount of healing/dmg listed. It's not that important to see the +50 hp increase from lifesteal or whatever

I would like a way to be able to track my rogues damage on a test dummy and use vanish. Now when i do it, it restarts after the vanish. Clearing data, and using overall data does not work, as it does with other meter addons. Same problem with the solo play plugins.

    - - - Updated - - -

Also, would like to see Resses working to show battle resses, and who they are on, possibly even the last few events leading to the death.

    Hi, thanks for the feedback.
You may enable overall data for all segments under Options Panel -> Combat. But overall data only updates when you leave the combat.
I'll take a look on this ress problem, it should be showing on Misc -> Ress, the events before death are shown under Misc -> Deaths, the tooltip also tells if the player got a battle ress.

The new feature Death Events Amount is interesting and all, but how about combine it with X seconds before death also or be able to pick just one of them?

So if you have 6 seconds before death OR 16 events recorded, if you pick the seconds, Details will record everything from 6 seconds before the death, ignoring completely how many events there will actually be.

Or if you pick the amount, for 16 events, it will ignore completely how long time it took to get 16 events. Just 16 events and it's done.

Another suggestion that might come abit odd but I would still love it, that is to be able to pick from which line in the tooltip Death you want to report into the chat. So you mouseover the dead player's death tooltip, and in the actual tooltip you can rightclick one row, and you will report that row and all rows below it and ignore the rows above it. What you will gain from this is to be able to use the max amount of Death Event Amount to see everything you want, but you will have the power to pick from which row you want to report the death instead of report every single row, which would be ALOT of info.

Let me show you an example about this, so let's say I want to report everything from the -9.7s Groon Smash and below but also ignore everything above -9.7s. Then I could just move the mousepointer to that row and rightclick it and the report-window will open and remember all lines from 9.7s and below until the Death and just report like normally.

If I want to report everything in that tooltip from the death, it will be alot, too much really, however, if I could pick the lines, it's would be more handy that way.

DeathNote is an amazing addon that does these things. You should check it out on Curse, Tercio.

I am really happy that you wanted to start improving the Deaths feature, since it's extremely handy and important in an addon like this, just that I knew you were busy with other stuff and didn't want to overrun you with suggestions like these earlier.

Edit: I am ending this post with a tiny suggestion, that is, I would recommend the actual chat report to be mirrored in order of the events until the death. So the last message in the lines will be the actual death at 0.0s instead of the first line on the top, so people don't need to scroll up to see the very last events that happened. Just the way it is in the tooltip.

Hey man, so, record all events inside a time window can't be done due to performance limitations.

The other two suggestions are valid specially the conversion of the deaths info from tooltip to menu, sounds handy and it's easy to make this change.
    As always, thank you!

    Fair enough.
