Alright part 2 to my odd life experience. I was 17 when I went back to the Philippines to study college. I lived with a house maid for a bit until she left. So I was living by myself for a good 8 to 9 months in a spacious house. Most of my families was still abroad and my sister was living in the city in an apartment. I was a bit loner since its been 7 to 8 years when I came back so I would just say hi and hello to some of my old friends until one of my old acquaintance asked if she could come inside and wanted to use the phone, it was about 10pm. After a couple of minutes later, she came out running and screaming. I was like da hell?! She said she saw a weird man at the 2nd half of the stairs. So me trying to be all machismo came running back in and I was like, "Who the fuck is here?!" I literally heard something came charging down the stairs, I turned around, and literally, LITERALLY, I felt the hair on the back of my neck went up. Like someone put their hand on the lower part and brushed it upwards. I saw my friend looking scared. Then it got quiet. She proceeded to tell me that the guy was trying to possess me but he couldnt? O.o? So this caused a chain of events at my house.

She proceeded to tell me that her girlfriend opened up her third eye and that she could see things not anyone can usually see with their own bare eyes. One day, she came over with her girlfriend. She told her about the story about what happened. So some of my old friends heard about it and were casually hanging out now. I usually dont get home until 11pm because my class was around 12pm to 8pm. And traffic is bad back home, ha ha. During the weekend, her girlfriend was back hanging out and someone asked, how does one open up someone's third eye. She said, I could open it for you... And lets just say she did. I dont remember her "process" but I was just watching. After that "process" he would just stare at the bathroom light, directly of his view. And he couldnt stop looking at it. Like it was his first time looking at it. Then he started telling us what he sees... Then later on, he would tell us what he could sense a hundred of feet away from this old abandoned house. That theres someone underneath the stairs waiting.

So this started a whole event of my friends usually staying the night every time I get home they would all come chill and hang out every night. Play my PS and talk smack. And thats when usually at 12am when things go eerie. We would just watch the TV and I could hear someone bouncing a tennis ball on the 2nd floor. It was wood flooring. So id turn off the TV and we would all listen. And you know when weird things happen like that we could giggle and cower in fear at the same time huddled together ha ha. Then we'd take up courage and just ignore it. I went upstairs when it was late in the morning before I went to school. I went to the small room thats been unoccupied for a while now. On the floor that has collected dusts, I can see the prints of circles. Not a single foot print, just the circles where the ball was bounced.

Part 3 for later Coz im getting scared myself right now -_-

People called me extremely irrational for having this fear :< I was more afraid of a very large creature suddenly coming into view, usually their eyes first. And a sniper.

Nothing has ever *really* happened to me that I can't explain, other than that time I was watching TV with my mom, she turned around to take a sip of her drink and a piece of popcorn flew out from where the TV was and hit me in the face. At the time, we had no popcorn...weird and silly, but unexplainable.

Hallucinations happen somewhat often, and I have a fear of pretty much everything...thankfully nothing life threatening has happened.

ffs I was about to go to bed, what am I doing in this thread @_@

I get the paranoid thing a lot. But if it keeps me alive, I don't mind the name-calling.
I actually intend (when I get a house,) to have each window be bullet proof. Among
    a few other safety improvements...

Just from the description, it sounds like something I wouldn't touch with an 80-foot pole.

I was in California at the time with him since I had just graduated high school in L.A., and he (since he was a two years older than me) had just gotten off duty for two weeks from the Marine Corps. Anyways, we decided to head up to Colorado to his parents house, but something very, very chilling happened on his way to his parents' house. As we were driving down the interstate, it was largely uneventful for ~3 hours, but all of that changed when we finally crossed into Colorado. The entire area that the interstate passed through was fairly densely wooded, which was a contrast from the barren landscape of the state of Arizona that we had just passed through.

Anyways, as we were ~90 miles from Denver, my friend decided that he would take a backroute that connected to the Nevada-Utah-Colorado interstate since that would've saved us some time as his parents' house was on the northern edge of Denver. About 15 minutes after he did this, we eventually came across a car that was parked horizontally across the road. It was a beat-up Subaru. Keep in mind that it was fairly dark outside at this point and that this backroute had had no cars for most of the 15 minutes that had passed. It was also densely wooded with old trees, which reduced visibility in both lateral directions. As we got closer, the headlights of the car began to make out two people lying face down on the road. One of the car doors was still open, and there was an open suitcase on the other side of the car.

I was already beginning to feel really uneasy. The two people looked dead, but it didn't look like a car accident. I began to immediately cycle through scenarios, such as a serial killer or worse, but none made sense at at the time. There's no feeling like knowing you're in severe danger, but knowing what you're in danger of, exactly. The adrenaline has you shivering uncontrollably.

Him, being a U.S. Marine who had seen combat in Iraq, reached into the dashboard, and got his .9 mm service standard out like it was no big deal at all. He loaded the chamber, and braced for combat. At this point, I knew that if he was feeling the strangeness of this situation, too, it must've been serious. Something was obviously very, very wrong. The entire scene was looking "too perfect" to be real, which had just set us on edge even more. Well, turns out that our intuitions were correct. We kind of thought thought about getting out of the car, but decided not to since it was too dark and he would be in an unfavorable tactical position. We decided we'd just try to drive around it, and so he managed to finally get around the road block by partially dipping into the ditch on the side of the road.

And that's when it began. We got past the road block, and as soon as we did this, the two figures instantly got up. Furthermore, ~20 other people began to swarm from the woods. When the first person jumped up onto the road from a ditch, I seriously thought it was a Were-wolf. Your rational thinking ability is drowned by the panicked adrenaline that courses through your blood vessels. Some of them were in hooded robes, kind of like the KKK, but without the pointy dunce caps. At this point, he lowered the window, discharged two rounds somewhere to the side of the car and somewhere in front, and then floored the car. We managed to get away from the swarm JUST in time, and drove like hell to the interstate.

We filed a police report, but nothing was found the next day. To this day, we still speculate that it could've been cultists or maybe something even more sinister, but ultimately, we don't know.

Sometimes, real life is scarier than any movie. And this wasn't even the last time this happened to me, since something eerily reminiscent of this happened to my girlfriend and I a year later (although it was a bit less dramatic since we just turned around and drove the hell away.)

There have been reports of this before, stagged car accidents, people laying in the middle of the road... waiting for people to step out to help, then others hidinh just off the road come to rob you.

There was a documented case of this happening but the driver of the vehicle didnt trust the suspicious setup drove over a grass median, where 2 people where lieing in ambush, and unknowingly drove over the would be attackers.

I kinda have the opposite of this sort of story: an unexplained event to everyone else involved except for me, but I can never tell them what really happened.

So, three years ago my uncle was dying from cancer. He was diagnosed and his health went south in a few short weeks. It still amazes me how fast it took him. My aunt had hospice care at their home and my uncle was laid up in the living room on his deathbed. In his last week he became too weak to talk or get up, and at this point the more extended family that lived further away started flooding in to say their goodbyes.

I had spent the last week or two over there any time I wasn't at work or school. My aunt was too traumatized by the situation to get much done, so I was always helping around the house to ease her mind.

About a month and a half after his diagnosis, my uncle died early on a Monday morning. I woke up and saw a text from his son informing me of the bad news, and I immediately headed over. By the time I arrived, they had just removed the body. My aunt and a few others were outside because they needed some air. My mother was inside, so I went in to talk to her.

My mom is a total busybody, especially when stressed. She was cleaning the living room that my uncle had just died in. I began helping her, and in the process she asked me to turn the light out on the lamp that was next to my uncle's bed.

The next part is sort of hard to explain, but I assume most of you know how a lamp works. The lamp was the sort with a little knob underneath the shade. You turn the knob one direction until it clicks and it will turn off or on. I turned the knob, the light turned off, but it didn't click. After a few seconds the light flickered, because the knob didn't click and it slipped back. I thought that was weird and then turned the knob harder, and it still didn't click. A few moments later it dawned on me that I was an idiot and was turning the knob the wrong way, but I never went back to fix it.

About an hour later, all of the family was in the living room. Family friends, extended family, everyone. Probably 30 people in that room. We were all having a conversation about my uncle, when all of a sudden the lamp started flickering again. Everyone was shocked, and then my grandmother said that was my uncle telling us he made it to heaven. People started crying, everyone was amazed. Then the lamp flickered again and this time it stayed on. To this day people that were there still talk about it. Just a few months ago a family friend posted about it on Facebook, saying that that proved to her that god exists.

I never had the heart to tell anyone that it was all because I turned a knob the wrong way.

Also, yeeeah, I wouldn't... seems like it gave them hope and comfort. Removing that

Yeesh. That's rough man. At least mine just picks stuff I know isn't real. I'd probably have a breakdown if it started using my past pets. :/

I second this notion. Can we form a government/bill to commence with the cleansing of the globe of any and all mirrors, down to the last shard? This includes hand mirrors. Not one will survive.

Op's story is creepy as hell but when you think about how many people go missing each year and are never found you think how possible it is. A decent amount of people are most likely walking around with us who are serial killers or killed/abducted people and have never been caught......

I was home alone with my dad, I think my mom and sister were at my grandmothers, but anyways I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I look out my window and I see this pretty big sized orange light in the sky, about moon sized, but it did not look anything like the moon, couldn't see the craters, etc. I am looking at this thing for like 3 minutes straight rubbing my eyes and making sure I am not seeing things, I run down the hallway and wake my dad up at like 3 am come back and it's gone and there's nothing in the sky except the stars where I saw it. I really hope I just had something in my eyes..

lol sorry but that's funny because I did a similar thing. When my sister was living in the basement at our house, she had a boyfriend named shane. He ended up overdosing on something and died, my sister found out the next day.

I was messing with some of my dads stuff downstairs at the time (an amplifier I think) and I forgot I left it on. The next morning my sister told us she heard static all night and she thought it was him trying to contact her. I went downstairs and realized it was the amplifier so...I turned it off and said nothing

Recently I had a dream in which my recently deceased beagle was alive. Then I had
to kill him in the dream. Why, brain, why?! (Worst part about this one was that in
life, I was away at school when he died, so my memory of 'his death' was me killing
    him.)

We really should. Except, I think we might need to keep mirrors on vehicles. Could
cause even more bad driving otherwise.

The brain is a necessary evil, sometimes. Sometimes, it's just evil. It likes to not listen when you tell it to not do something. Such as give you heart-wrenching dreams like that.

Well. Alright, we can compromise on a few things. Or, we could use some sort of camera system that you put in place of the mirrors, but that's not very....cost-effective. Oh well, DEATH TO MIRRORS!

Why don't you try reading/watching the news ...crazy shit happens everyday and worse then this guys story . Try looking up the Census workers who's bodies were found chained to a tree no limbs or head just the torsos .

Or hell even were I live crazy shit happens all the time with these hillbillies . I have a friend who was out in the woods camping with his Gf and her friend and some hillbillies drove up on them and got out of the truck ...4 of them and started saying " tie the dude up he can watch us all fuck them " ...only reason my friend is alive today is because he happen to go to the shooting range before they went camping and 2 of them had .50 cal desert eagles and started shooting at the people coming up on them ...they drove off but threatened they were coming back.

I have a a police officer friend in California and he told me several times that they cover up occult shit all the time because it would scare the shit out of the public and cause a panic ...he said they find REALLY messed up stuff but I never got any specific details .

Scariest thing that happened to me was a group of drunk college guys came up on me and my friend as we left a bar and grabbed my friend who was Indian and started making racial slurs at him but I grabbed him and we ran off it was 8 of them vs 2 of us ...I ran up on a cop who was within eye sight of us and started yelling at him for not doing his job and he had a cup of beer in his hand . Well his partner who was huge but hiding in a dark corner took his baton out and put me in a choke hold and lifted me off the ground I was literally choking to death and the cop who had the beer whispered to me " you ever come running up on me like that again and i'll put a fucking bullet in your head " and then the big guy let me go and the cop told me to " get the fuck out of here " ...

Did it take place on February 2, 2014?

FOr me I always get shocked by static shock at where I work, no one else does(it has kind of created this phobia where I don't like to touch metal when I am there). And also gravity, pretty unexplained to me.

Time...line? Time isn't made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round. ~ Caboose
