Misdirect and Distracting shot confusion

While true, it no longer reliably works on bosses, so that's kind of irrelevant. Also, KC causing your pet to generate threat because your pet is doing the damage is only relevant if you want to be MDing to your pet- it's very important in raids and group content to be aware that KC will not transfer threat to your tank through MD.

That's the way I figured it should work, but...y'know...Blizz has weird ways sometimes.

I use Glyph of Distracting Shot for heroic Malkorok. Some people are bad at bringing the slimes into the middle, so the hunters have to compensate for them.
Pet stays on boss, distracting shot the slime into the melee cleave pile. Tried misdirection, but it wasn't consistent enough to overcome some healer or lock aoe threat.
