I don't identify as anything. I approach each issue from a neutral standpoint and I do my best to understand the concerns of all sides. I do this mainly to avoid being branded with a label that leads to people making assumptions about my opinions.

it's hard to tell if it's really a right wing or left wing thing. on one hand, it's anti-establishment and pro-freedom and interested in questioning power, but the late form of anarchy would be simply another establishment by those with power (whoever has the guns, or brute strength, or cunning to trick and swindle people would win), and new governments would inevitably be set up in dictatorial, anti-democratic fashion.

But the second someone gains power over others, it's no longer anarchy, is it?

I am in favor of things like Universal HC, a minimum income for all house holds to get people above the poverty line "Cushy" prisons with rehabilitation. Aqueduct education funding for schools and universities. Increased funding to scientific research to combat human aging and other diseases, NASA and other physics related funding. Reforming tax payer foreign aid to be more efficient at promoting education. (there have been cases in which foreign aid actually kills jobs there, and the military arms we give actually will be used against innocent people. There is a right way to do foreign aid and a wrong way).

However, I am critical of excessive surveillance, excessive copyright protections from the government. Legalization of marijuana. Decriminalize simple possession of ownership of ALL drugs. I support cutting the US military budget over time by 47% and closing many of our foreign military bases which are expensive to maintain. Strongly against life sentences for all offenders under the age of 21, against the death penalty since it goes against the philosophy of containment and goes into the category of excessive force and revenge.
