Yes, 6.0 is still way way way in the future. Beta hasn't even started yet.

6.0 (the prepatch) will run concurrently with beta at some point.

However, there is no rush for them to release it as 1. We're balanced for lvl 100 thus making the game not so balanced at 90.

2. The pvp season ends thus ending all arenas and rbgs. The shorter downtime the better.

If they do anything early, they technically could have the pre launch event with a theoretical 5.4.9. But that'd have no effect on CMs ending.
