I've read a couple, I just finally cracked... Some people really are heartless, my favorite are the adults who talk about how law breakers should be executed (in public such as an event for hanging) for the most meaningless of things yet many of them partied back when they were 16-mid 20's and drove drunk all the time. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Criminals are criminals. The thought that they stop being criminals just cause they're in jail is bad logic. Also there's like a butt-load of gangs in those prisons. One of them kept wanting me to join cause I'm pretty good with a bo staff... LOL Napoleon Dynamite works in this post too

In order for something to be malicious, by definition, there has to be malice towards the victim.

I think maybe your definition is off.

I find it hilarious when people probably still in university or living at home with their parents (i don't know your situation but I know you're only 23) pretend to be such experts on complex subjects like this.

Ever heard of three strikes laws?

Thank you for those links. They prove my point nicely.

In order for someone to be acting out of malice there has to be intent to harm.

Otherwise, the harm is incidental and the act isn't malicious.

    No, it doesn't.

In some jurisdictions it applies to felonies, and in others it applies to any number of "serious" crimes, of which drug possession is one.

Which are upgraded to felonies for that case therefore felonies only.

I've seen what you're doing throughout this entire thread, you're just arguing anyone who goes against you by twisting what they say into your own words to make you feel like you've won an argument, stop. It's pathetic and just hurts to read.

A crime is not a felony until it's "upgraded" to a felony in a three strikes case. So the fucking point, which you have failed to grasp, is that yes you can go to jail for life for drug possession, including smoking a joint.

I'm not twisting anything. I'm watching the same people come in here and throw out "expert" assertion after assertion with no challenge. Sometimes they aren't challenged because they have high post counts, sometimes because they're girls and this is the internet.

Boo hoo, did you call me pathetic on the internet?

Violent people are just violent, and they don't want to change. Especially the new younger generation of offenders, they just like to do "gangster" shit and give 0 fucks about the consequences.

Don't bother. People think Oz was an documentary.

I beg to differ, our justice system when it comes to crime and punishment is horrid. Denmark, for example, is currently being flooded by criminal gangs from the Baltics, because the life we offer them in our prison cells is better than the life they have in Latvia.

Amazing sig, done by mighty Lokann
